I don't think that you'd get as harsh of an answer, but I also don't think that you'd get a name change.

The simple reason one would want to change their name would be to remove the feelings other schmoes might have about them by appearing to be a newbie who other schmoes don't know and therefore don't have an opinion of. If one really wanted to change their username there are some rather sneaky ways to do so.
