Brad Pitt has been given a special treat for his upcoming 40th birthday -- an extra year.

The actor was convinced he turned 40 last year and tried to talk his wife Jennifer Aniston out of planning a special bash for him in December.

But he was left both red-faced and delighted when he discovered he's a year younger than he thought he was.

He says, "I was arguing with Jen about my age, and we had to call my mom to find out how old I was. Now it's no big deal because I already feel like I'm 40."

Yeah...I thought he would be turning 41 this yr on Dec 18th right? At any rate, he can be 60 and still look GOOD!!!! Yeah baby!:D

Huh? Wait up.....according to imdb..he is gonna be 40 in Dec so at the moment he's 39.

Exactly. Silly Mr. Pitt thought he turned 40 last year. I don't think he's usually a dumbass but I'm starting to have my doubts...
