I'm in South Korea teaching English, and Halloween isn't really a holiday here. However, at my school we have it because it's part of Western culture that the school feels goes along with teaching English. My roommate went into Itaewon yesterday (the district of Seoul near an American military base) where they sell lots of western shit. He picked up for me a kickass Werewolf mask. Most of my kindergarten kids loved it and went crazy. I wore it walking out of the school for lunch and it scared the shit out of all these old people. They'd never seen anything like it. I just find it really funny that it's scaring adults much more than it's scaring kids.

My boss did take a picture of me mauling one of my unfortunate co-workers. It wasn't a digital camera though, so whenever he develops the film and gives me a copy of the pic I"ll have to track down a scanner. The mask really isn't anything terribly special to most people. You can readily find the same thing all over the US, it's just that here it's very hard to find a decent mask so it was a good score.

Oh yeah, and what are some good werewolf movies?
I already know:
The Howling 1 & 4
Silver Bullet (I haven't actually seen this one yet, but I've read Cycle of the Werewolf)
Dog Soldiers
Ginger Snaps
Underworld
An American Werewolf In London / Paris
DNA Overload: Project Metalbeast
Any others? It seems like werewolf movies are harder to come by than vampire movies.

Also check out "Wolf" with Jack Nicholson.
People seem to be wildly opposed in their opinions of this movie, but I'm one of the people that dug it. See for yourself.

The Company of Wolves is the most original werewolf flick that I've chanced upon, and could almost be seen as a precursor to Ginger Snaps. There's also Bad Moon, but I didn't really care for it.

If you can get past the terrible computer effects in BAD MOON, it isn't too bad. Although the dog is the most entertaining character.
