This wreaks of bullshit but this is the article from IMDB:

Britney Spears is reportedly dating actor John Cusack, after falling for him during a promotional tour for her upcoming album. According to Britain's Daily Star newspaper, the singer, 21, met the 37-year-old Con Air star while performing in New York clubs, and was overheard asking an assistant for his number. Reports also claim the sexy star headed to the plush Four Seasons Hotel, where Cusack was staying, after chatting to a mystery man on her cell phone. And sources close to the singer insist the pair have subsequently shared some intimate dates. One says, "They are seeing each other but not really dating. It's too early to say where this may lead, but there is something there."


I just laughed when I read that. But if it's true then they win the award for the most unlikely couple.

Brit's been linked to many guys, and they all had some things in common:

1. They've all been intelligent.
2. They've all moved on.

Am I the only one here who's noticed? John Cusack, Fred Durst, Colin Farrel, Justin Timberlake, even Wade Robson... All took a ride on the Village Britney Bike and then called it a day.

I'm with you on that one. Even if it isn't true, it isn't a bad thing to be linked to her. He manages alright in the womens department, Neve Campbell, Meg Ryan and Jodi Lyn O'Keefe, more power to him.

2. Britney is damn attractive

3. The levels of misogyny on this board these days are really becoming tiresome...just because you don't like someone doesn't mean it's ok to call them a slut and a ho. I've always been more than a little peeved at the distinction many people make between a guy who likes to have a good time (he's a dude) and a woman who likes to have a good time (she's a slut). Let's not bring ourselves down to the same level as that particular subsection of society.

It often bothers me too when Britney, Jennifer Lopez, ect. are called sluts and so fourth. I usually just brush it off as ignorance or jealousy or something on people's parts.

The first, while true, does not change the fact that anyone who CHOOSES his roles must have something going on upstairs.

The second is merely opinion, and while I entirely agree with the third point you made...she really is quite yucky looking, in me humble opinion.

I'm very disappointed in John Cusack. Britney IS a whore. Plain and simple. He should aim higher.
