What's your favorite performance from this amazing actor? This guy is definitely one of my faves and in the past few weeks I've seen a bunch of his movies that I've missed (and a second viewing of Sleepy Hollow) and am fucking regretting now not seeing them. Great stuff.
My personal favorite is Ichabod Crane from Sleepy Hollow.

My favorite is Capt. Jack Sparrow, followed by Gilbert Grape, although I'm not a fan of most of his movies

His performance in Ed Wood is definitely his best and most tragic. Don't give me that PotC crap.

In my eyes he has three brilliant performances. In:
Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas
Edward Scissorhands
Ed Wood
I can't choose from these three, they're all great. In my opinion, anyways...

Ed Wood.
That movie is just ALL Depp. Burton takes out his off the wall colorful style, all the other actors are very sedate...Depp is just able to rock.

Depp is astounding; I've yet to be disappointed in him.
My personal favorite- and his best- is Ed Wood, with Edward Scissorhands not far behind.

I love Johnny Depp and I've yet to see a movie where I was dissapointed in his preformance. It was hard to pick one so I randomly selected POTC.

Capt. Jack Sparrow (Pirates Of The Caribbean).
Followed closely by his role in Ed Wood.
That was...um, hard.

Gilbert Grape. I enjoyed (a lot) his performance in Pirates, but I wouldn't say it was his best, I think it's sort of overrated.

It's close between Ed Wood and Edward Scissorhands. Depp and Burton make a great combination. Sleepy Hollow is also very good.

Raoul Duke in FALILV. Totally amazing performance.
The guy is a genius with many great performances but I had to go with Jack Sparrow, most entertaining performance in years, by any actor.
