TV SHOW: Scare Tactics

Anyone see this show? The Sci Fi channel featured it from 10-11 tonight for Halloween. It appears that this is going to be on for the whole season.

It is hosted by Shannon Dougherty (sic) and its quality. They take scenes from quality horror films, take unsuspecting victims, and put them in the middle of a re-enacted version of that scene.

On the hour long show that I saw, I saw homages to The Shining, Friday the 13th 3-D, Willard, and many others.

I posted this hear because I figured that people here would eat it up. Its definitely a LOL good time. Its funny to see these people scared shitless.

Anyway....its on the Sci Fi channel, so if this interests you, then look it up.

Yea, while I'm not a Shannon Doherty fan by any means, I sincerely LOVE watching the pathetic unsuspecting victims get the shit scared out of them. that is just priceless.

I don't suppose anyone taped this as I completely forgot to???

I think in some ways the show is great and some ways it's horribly cruel...if anyone i knew pulled that stupid shite on me and i thought i was on scare tactics i would fake a heart attack so then they'd freak out and when they stopped taping and leaned over me i'd scream "WHO'S ON SCARE TACTICS NOW, BEEYATCH!!!" fuck yeah!!! shannon would shit her brenda-lovin' britches!!! :)

dar brings up a good point. I, too, have wondered about the possibility of a heart attack. I suppose they check out the past medical records to make sure the poor sap doesnt have a defective beater...

Ironicly, that was on one episode. The studio told a kid to get a hair cut from a specific barbor, they made it look like the barbors daughter set it all up. He was going to pull the Dumb & Dumber move and act like the barbor cut his neck and get it on Scare Tactics. When he did, the barbor gasped, grabbed his heart, and fell down. The kid was freaking scared to death, he knew where the cameramen were, but when he tried to go to them they took off in a van. The barbors daughter came in and was like "What the hell happened? I never set anything up against my own father you bastard!" She called the cops in front of him. He was shitless, he tried to explaine that it was a joke for a show, and she just got angrier. When the "dead" barbor got up and told the kid that the show accually set him up, he nearly had his own heart attack.

It was probobly the funniest episode i've seen (havent seen much). Though it does make you wonder if someone accually did have a heart attack.....

yeah, they have made at least 4 episodes where they tell people they are on the show "fear antics" and the people think they are about to scare other people when they themselves are really the ones about to get scared.

this show is great. ive been watching it ever since it came out...at least 6 months ago.
