I saw a Queen albums in the Music DVD section at the store today. At first I thought it was just a consert, but it wasn't, its was a DVD-Audio disc. I know little about them, I just want to know what makes it so special, it was $44 and I don't want to spend that much on an albums I could buy for $10

Dossipeni, I have a few Dvd-audios, The Doors: LA Woman, The Corrs: In Blue(don't ask), the A.I. soundtrack, and Metallica's black album. NOw, I can only recommend this if you have a decent setup, soundwise. I've got a full 5.1 system and powered sub, and saying that it is well worth it, i have all 4 on cd as well and the differences are phenomenal. I mean on Metallica, on Enter the sandman, the child praying comes from different speakers and what not. With The doors' Riders in the Storm, the storm actually fills your room, its quite amazing. but I would have to say I like A.I. the best, but i may be biased because i loved the movie..lol
if you go to Best Buy, or shop at DVDplanet.com they have a good selection of DVD-audio's for a relatively good price. But I can only recommend it if you are into music, or are an audiophile, if not then it wouldn't be effective for you to pony up the money for something you won't find value in. So in the end its up to preference.
Hope this helps a little bit.
p.s. one thing i forgot to mention is that most DVD-audios have some sort of special features, and all the ones i have have the complete lyrics and a photo gallery. While this may not make you want to buy it more, it does add a little
