Don't ya love finding these little buggers? They are what I would identify as one of life's little pleasures(and yes I know that's sad). I thought it might be coo if we all listed the eggs we've found. That way allot Of us can see ones we haven't found yet. Yes I know that's an obvious statement but uhh...well nevermind. If you like, list a few.
Vanilla Sky has a great out-takes montage. It's in the photos menu, Highlight the mask.

This may make me look kinda stupid but how exactly to you find them? By blind luck?

Yes.
I found a bunch of storyboards on my Ginger Snaps DVD by pressing the wrong button. (from the main screen press up to highlight a paw next to the movie title)
And sometimes, you look for them.
You can go to dvdreview.com, they have a whole lot of them there.

Usually the way to find them is to press one of the arrows on the remote that usually wouldn't really take you anywhere, like if the selection that is at the top is highlighted, try pressing the "up" button. Sometimes it will just go to the bottom, but sometimes...? also try the "left" and "right" buttons. You see what I'm saying? Probably not. Oh well, I tried.

I might be the only one, but I don't like eastereggs at all.
Stuff like DVD credits, stuff like that...I wouldn't care about, but when they 'hide' informational or fun stuff like outtakes, scenes...it sucks. I don't have time to go online and write down things to get the most out of my DVD. They shouldn't hide them.
That's my word.

True but it's a joy when you come across something like that out of nowhere.

I like Easter Eggs they are pretty cool, especialy ones like the one on T2 that give you a whole additional cut of the movie.
I tried to start an Easter Egg library of sorts a couple of months ago, but no one cared, hopefully people gget more into this one than the one I tried to do.
Yeah let's blow some life into this thread!
I found quite some eggs meself, on the web but also by accident.
Some are really funny but most of them are pretty lame.
I personally would like to find more region 2 eggs, since I live in Holland.
Any suggestions?
Anyone?

I love DVD Easter Eggs there great to find. Cannibal Ferox has a very nice easter egg along with the Usual Suspects. I love it when you just finished watching all the extras then come across more stuff. A good amount of extras are pretty easy to find but on some movies its damn hard to find Easter Egg's

Here's a few for Spy Game, Donnie Darko, and Fight Club
Spy Game
Access The Egg
1) You need to watch the movie twice in a row. Then a "Classified" folder will show up on the TV screen. Highlight and hit Enter.
2) Watch the movie and then after play it again, then use the skip screen button stop and start the fast forward a few times then the emblem will appear. Then just press enter.
This will give you a third ending to the movie.
The DVD includes many titles. I think there are about 31. Title 1 is the regular movie. Title 2 is the regular movie except that every few minutes a file folder marked "classified" will pop up. If you hit enter you will get text on various topics related to the movie. Also CIA symbols appear in a few spots. If you hit enter while it is on the screen you will see deleted or alternate scenes.
Titles 3-14 are mini documentaries on the marking of the movie. The rest are the titles are the deleted scenes, and movie trailers.
Donnie Darko
Access The Egg
1) First go to the Special Features menu, then choose "The Philosophy of Time Travel". Once you have done so, continue to press RIGHT on your DVD remote until you come to the page titled "Appendix A" or the one with the human torso with a circle in the middle. Press UP on your controller to high-light the circle, and press ENTER. You'll see a deleted scene.
2) Return to the book, and go to the page titled "Appendix B" or the one with the skeleton and arrow. Press UP, and a black arrow will appear, press ENTER to see another trailer for the film.
3) Go to the Special Features menu, and choose "Cunning Visions", once in that section, high-light "Special Features" at the bottom of the screen. Now press RIGHT on your DVD remote and the small Cunning Visons logo will be high-lighted, press ENTER. You will now be taken to the Donnie Darko Website Gallery section, specifically to the Cunning Vison website home page.
Fight Club
Access The Egg
Disc1 - On the main menu select 'Special' and then press the 'Up' arrow key and you will highlight a Smiley face. If you press 'Enter' now, you will get to see two credit screens.
Disc 2 - From the main menu go to the 'Advertising' section. If you press the 'Down' arrow key on your remote control three times, another green Smiley face will appear right underneath the 'Promotional Gallery' entry. Now, press 'Enter' and you will be taken to a section where you can scroll through a catalog of Fight Club merchandising. All the items have amusing text accompanying them.
Just after the FBI and standard copyright warning screen at the beginning of the disc you are presented a warning by Tyler, outlining the futlity of reading the warning.
Memento
Access The Egg
After choosing "Otnemem" from the Special features section, go to the top of the screen until the word "questions" in the headline is highlighted by an underline and and exclamation point. Choose it and you will be taken to a note that asks "Who did I kill?" Highlight the right arrow and you will be taken to another screen with a list of names. Choose the victim's name (Teddy) and you will see the credits for the DVD.
Also, in the "Biographies" section under Special Features, for a brief moment in the actors' bios it says their characters name instead of their real name, while in Nolan's bio it says Memento backwards.
There is also something in the Tattoo gallery. When you reach the tattoo for John G's license plate, select the picture and then press the up button and you will see a picture of the license plate. Pressing the up button on some of the other pictures for the other tattoos will give you different angles for those tattoos as well.
***Although Canada is a region 1 Disc, this next Egg can ONLY be found on the Canadian Disc.***
On the main menu, just to the right of "Set up", there is a selection which looks like it's been crossed out. Highlight it and press enter. You'll find an amusing little note from Mr. Shelby and an alternate scene index which puts the scenes in "Chronological" order. Unfortunately, it wont let you play the whole movie in this new order, just one scene at a time. Lame, but I knew the "Program" function on DVD players had to be good for something eventually!
Watch The Movie all the way through and let it go back to the main menu. From there, all Menus are backwards and in reverse.

If you can play DVDs on your PC, it's so easy to find easter eggs. Whilst on a menu screen, sweep your cursor over it and if an egg is there it will be highlighted.

I am not too sure if this is for both regions but for your region 1 copy of "X Men", go to the trailers menu and go down until you highlight a rose and press play. You will then be taken to a joke montage with a crew memebr dressed up as Spiderman. CHECK IT OUT!
