24 UK DVD RECALLED

20th Century Fox have recalled the 24 boxset in the UK due to there being 90 seconds cut out of the last few episodes. This is due to the discs being mastered from the US tapes and not the UK ones.

Fox is going to replace the disc of anyone who has already bourght the box set. You have to send discs 5 and 6 to:

But the replacement discs will not be avalible for another 4 to 5 weeks.
At the moment I have not found any online conformation but if you in the UK and have Ceefax, go to BBC1 and to page 579 and the first 2 pages will confirm the above.

If you have the VHS version then don't worry there are no cuts to the show.

I already knew episodes were cut compared tot he UK release, didn't realise FOX didn't know, it's nice of them to replace them. The thing is the extra footage was never meant to be aired but was added to the UK TV version for timing purposes.
