Who do you think is going to be the best thing hollywood has going for it in the future?
My list (click on name for imdb address)
1. Haley Joel Osment (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0005286/)
http://www.bfca.org/images/photos/19.jpg
No way is he going anywhere but up. It is only a matter of time till he collects his oscars.
2. Keira Knightley (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0461136/)
http://www.padme.de/kei2.jpg
My favorite rising star! She WILL provale! ALL Hail Keira!!
3.
Jude Law (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0000179/)
http://home2.planetinternet.be/verjans/images/divolaw.jpg
Ok, ok. He's not the youngest on the list, but his future is gold. He is the best next choice for a new Paul Newman or Tom Hanks. Just look at the 8 new films hes currently making at imdb!

I'm not a big fan of Haley but I enjoyed his performance in A.I.
Keira on the other hand has really impressed me as of late. I really liked her acting chops in bend it Like Beckhem as well as in Pirates. I hope her career takes off in the direction it deserves.
Jude Law I allready consider a star :)

Well, since I've followed their careers for quite some time...I'd LOVE to see them make it HUGE at some point.
James Logan

I'd love to see Samantha Morton get there, but I don't think she will...I don't know. Just would sound odd to me.
Here're mine:
1°) Clive Owen
2°) Keira Knightley
3°) Orlando Bloom
Owen's got KING ARTHUR and perhaps James Bond comin'.
Knightley's got KING ARTHUR too, LOVE ACTUALLY, the PIRATES sequels and one heck of a terrific body. And she's not even 20 yet!
As for Bloom, for now everyone sees him as just Legolas, but with TROY, KINGDOM OF HEAVEN and the PIRATES sequels, I think he's on his way for the jackpot. And besides...he's cute. ;)
I'd add Colin Farrell to the list, but I consider the man a star already. Same goes for Jude Law and Ewan McGregor -- those three being the most talented, loveable young "stars" today in my humble opinion.

Oh, and add Hugh Jackman to that final stardom list. I love the man. :)

My choices are Keira Knightley, Maggie Gyllenhaal and Jessica Biel. All are excellent actresses who have had their big break in films this year, with Keira's being the triple whammy of Bend It Like Beckham, Pirates Of The Caribbean and Love Actually, Maggie's being the upcoming Mona Lisa Smile and Jessica's being the film that established her as the new scream queen, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre.

Am I the only guy who thinks Haley was a one-hit wonder? His post-6S track record hasn't been too good.
These are the three that I WANT to be stars, though I'm not sure all of them will ever be able to create a big audience draw like a Tom Cruise or a Russell Crowe.
Ryan Gosling - Loved him in "The Believer", and he brought a little sense (or chaos, depending on how you look at it) into "Murder by Numbers".
Barry Pepper - I've never seen him do anything less than outstanding work, in mostly outstanding films.
Sam Rockwell - I love this guy. He's extremely funny in "Welcome to Colinwood" and "Matchstick Men". I want to see him in more starring roles.
As I said, I don't think these three will ever draw huge audiences or ever be considered stars. I could think of others, but these were the three that immedietly came to mind. I guess the biggest prais I can give them is that whenever I see them in a scene, whether it's a good or bad movie, my enjoyment heightens.

Yeah... I forgot about this guy. Good one.
Kieran Culkin - easily the greatest child actor around today (though he's not much of a "child" anymore, twenty-one, I think).
Ryan Gosling - like AceD said. I can't see anyone else doing as well as he did in "The Believer."
Edward Norton - though already a disguished actor, I think he'll go on to be the greatest of our generation.

I don't like any of these people except for Sam Rockwell. I'd also add a vote for Joaquin Phoenix. Thought he was great in U-Turn.

I'm happy with liking the under stars and actually hope they don't become 'big.'
Isn't it true though that 'big' stars like Tom Cruise and Russell Crowe have 'big' ego's?
I'd love to see Desmond Harrington (http://us.imdb.com/name/nm0004993/) gain more recognition...Ah, but he is...sorta! Alota people have seen "Wrong Turn," but Uhm..lol!
Is Milla Jovavich big? She is to me! I love that girl!
If and when I become an actor in Hollywood, I won't care if I'm famous or not. Hell, I'd be happy with just being in the damned films! And yeah, I'd love money too, that would be nice to make a good living off of it...But I honestly wouldn't care about fame...
Sometimes people are just scary...
