Total Recall with Arnold and Paul Verhovean (7/10)

Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back with Kevin Smith, Jason Mewes, and Scott Mosier- (9/10) Lot of talking about cocks and farting. This is some funny shit. Jason Mewes goes to the bathroom and doesnt come back for like an hour.

Resident Evil with Paul Anderson, Milla Jovovich, Michelle Rodriguez, and Jeremy Bolt- (9/10) This commentary is really funny and entergetic. Anderson and Bolt are trying to talk intelligently about the film while Milla and Michelle are arguing with eachother about underwear and farting.

Army Of Darkness: Bootleg Ed with Sam and Ivan Raimi and Bruce Campbell- (8/10)

Terminator 2: Judgement Day with a lot of fuckin' people- (7/10) Too many people to keep track of.

Memento: Limited Edition with Chris Nolan- (6/10) The guy coulda raised the decibel level in his voice a little bit. This commentary was a little boring.

True Romance with Quentin Tarantino- (10/10) It's never a dull moment with Mr. Tarantino. He talks a million miles and minute and all of what he has to say is funny and informative.

Evil Dead BOTD with Bruce Campbell- (10/10) Holy good God this is some funny shit! When the tree rape scene comes you'll be laughing your ass off to what ol' Bruce has to say.

Theres a few more commentaries I've listened to but I only listened to half so I cant rate them (From Hell, Platoon, Donnie Darko)

Very informative, very funny, just the best. It would've been cool to have Chuck Palahniuk with them.

This is gonna get long:
1. Peter Jackson, Fran Walsh, Philippa Boyens ("The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring")- It's only the first of four commentaries for "Fellowship," but the depth of content and wealth of information you learn of Jackson's magnum opus is unheard of, and you only learn more with the other yack tracks. A standard-bearer. (A+)
2. Matt Groening, Al Jean, Mike Reiss, Jay Kogan, Wally Wolodarsky ("The Simpsons: The Complete Second Season"- "Bart the Daredevil")- The answer to the question of "What you get when you put five "Simpsons" writers in front of microphones?" The reason the show is so funny. (A+)
3. Kevin Smith, Scott Mosier, Jason Mewes, Brian O'Holleran, Jeff Anderson, David Mandel, Chris Bailey ("Clerks: The Animated Series"- Episode VI)- It's hard to pick a fave, but listening to Smith bitch about network lawyers is too good to pass up. (A+)
4. Matt Groening, Al Jean, Mike Reiss, Jim Reardon ("The Simpsons: The Complete Second Season"- "Itchy & Scratchy & Marge")- An ultra-violent masterpiece discussed most informatively by more of the "Simpsons" gang. My one question- where's the elusive "John Swartzwelder"- if he's even a real person- on the commentaries? (A+)
5. Matt Groening, Brad Bird, Jay Kogan, Wally Wolodarsky ("The Simpsons: The Complete First Season"- "Krusty Gets Busted")- Classic "Simpsons" writer madness when it's remembered an abandoned joke about Krusty and prison is "Fresh Clown! Fresh Clown!" (A+)
6. Matt Groening, Al Jean, David Silverman, James L. Brooks ("The Simpsons: The Complete First Season"- "Some Enchanted Evening")- Just to hear Matt remember how- after the first screening- Jim Brooks said, "This is shit." Priceless. (A+)
7. Sam Raimi, Bruce Campbell, Scott Spiegel, Greg Nicotero ("Evil Dead II")- Pure, unadulterated hilarity. Genius yack track. (A+)
8. Matt Groening, Al Jean, Mike Reiss, Jeff Martin ("The Simpsons: The Complete Second Season"- "Three Men and a Comic Book")- Is this a funny commentary? Yes. Is this a funny commentary? Yes. Is this a funny commentary? Yes. 'Nuf said. (A+)
9. Kevin Smith, Scott Mosier, Jason Mewes, Brian O'Holleran, Jeff Anderson, David Mandel, Chris Bailey ("Clerks: The Animated Series"- Episode V)- The "Clerks" animated gang talking about the short-lived series' most bizarre episode is pretty funny, especially the last act. (A+)
10. Matt Groening, Al Jean, Mike Reiss, Jeff Martin, Rich Moore ("The Simpsons: The Complete Second Season"- "Dead Putting Society")- No peace for Homer in the episode; no place to breath during laughs while listening to this commentary. (A+)
11. Matt Groening, Al Jean, David Silverman, James L. Brooks ("The Simpsons: The Complete First Season"- "Life on the Fast Lane")- It's hard not to laugh with this group when they're laughing at Albert Brooks' brilliant guest spot. (A+)
12. Kevin Smith, Scott Mosier, Jason Mewes ("Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back")- With or without Affleck, these three give great commentary. (A+)
13. Walt Disney Archive ("Fantasia")- Yes, this was before "Snow White." Given the film is his most personal masterpiece, no fan of the movie should miss it. (A+)
14. Matt Groening, Al Jean, Mike Reiss, David Silverman, James L. Brooks ("The Simpsons: The Complete Second Season"- "The Way We Was")- A winning "Simpsons" nostalghia trip. But then again, they all are. (A+)
15. Matt Groening, Al Jean, Mike Reiss, Jim Reardon, Brian K. Roberts ("The Simpsons: The Complete Second Season"- "Brush With Greatness") (A+)
16. Kevin Smith, Scott Mosier, Jason Mewes, Brian O'Holleran, Jeff Anderson, David Mandel, Chris Bailey ("Clerks: The Animated Series"- Episode IV)- Another "Clerks" animated winner on the commentary front. (A+)
17. Matt Groening, Al Jean, Jon Vitti, James L. Brooks ("The Simpsons: The Complete Second Season"- "Simpson and Delilah")- More hilarious nostalghia from the "Simpsons" writers. When Brooks comes in, it gets even better. (A+)
18. John Lasseter, Andrew Stanton, Lee Unkrich ("A Bug's Life")- I love Pixar's movies. One more reason to love them. (A+)
19. Camille Paglia ("Basic Instinct")- A bit much at times, but a fascinating outsiders look at this controversial thriller. (A+)
20. Roger Ebert ("Dark City")- A terrific look at this neglected masterpiece by one of the film's most ardent supporters. (A+)
21. Kevin Smith, Scott Mosier, Vincent Pereira, Ben Affleck, Jason Mewes, Jason Lee ("Dogma")- Another winner from the ViewAskew gang. With video to boot! (A+)
22. Elijah Wood, Ian McKellen, Sean Astin, John Rhys-Davies, Sean Bean, Christopher Lee, Billy Boyd, Orlando Bloom, Dominic Monaghan, Liv Tyler ("The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring")- The most interesting and fun actor commentary ever. Even Tyler- in a brief showing- has some interesting tidbits to say, but honors and props to McKellen, Lee, and the Hobbits for their candidness. (A+)
23. Matt Groening, Al Jean, Mike Reiss, Wes Archer ("The Simpsons: The Complete First Season"- "Moaning Lisa")- Do you get the idea I love listening to these "Simpsons" commentaries? There's more on the way. (A+)
24. Matt Groening, Jon Vitti, Al Jean, Mike Reiss, Jim Reardon ("The Simpsons: The Complete Second Season"- "Bart's Dog Gets an F")- More wild "Simpsons" commentary with Groening and the boys. (A+)
25. Matt Groening, Al Jean, Mike Reiss, Jeff Martin ("The Simpsons: The Complete Second Season"- "Oh Brother, Where Art Thou?")- "Are We There Yet?" and Marco Polo find their origins in this bit of comic gold from "The Simpsons" crew. (A+)
26. Martin Scorsese, Jay Cocks, Paul Schrader, Willem Dafoe ("The Last Temptation of Christ")- A highly informative track about one of the most controversial films of modern times. If only these four were recorded at the same time. (A+)
27. Matt Groening, David Silverman, Jon Vitti, James L. Brooks ("The Simpsons: The Complete First Season"- "Bart the Genius")- "I hate it when you take credit for Diller's stuff Matt."- James Brooks as Groening discusses the scoring practices on the show. And that's just one highlight here. (A+)
28. Pete Doctor, John Lasseter, Andrew Stanton, Lee Unkrich ("Monsters Inc.")- More inspired Pixar yak track genius. Not a lot of technique talk, but a whole lot of fun as they discuss the plot points of their latest winner. (A+)
29. Matt Groening, Al Jean, Mike Reiss, Nell Scovell ("The Simpsons: The Complete Second Season"- "One Fish, Two Fish, Blowfish, Blue Fish")- Another "Simpsons" winner on the commentary front. (A+)
30. Jim Lovell & Maralyn Lovell ("Apollo 13")- An enjoyable treat for fans of the film to hear the Lovell's tell us what was artistic license, what actually happened, and how vividly Ron Howard and co. presented the inspiring true story of the almost-doomed flight. (A+)
31. Matt Groening, Al Jean, Mike Reiss, David Silverman, James L. Brooks ("The Simpsons: The Complete Second Season"- "Bart Gets an F")- The season two discs get off to a great start with this winner. Just like the show did. (A+)
32. Kevin Smith, Scott Mosier, Jason Mewes, Brian O'Holleran, Jeff Anderson, David Mandel, Chris Bailey ("Clerks: The Animated Series"- Episode II)- One "Clerks" animated commentary? Funny. Three "Clerks" animated commentaries? Funnier. Four "Clerks" animated commentaries? Comic gold. (A+)
33. Matt Groening, David Silverman, James L. Brooks, Al Jean, Mike Reiss, George Meyer ("The Simpsons: The Complete Second Season"- "Bart vs. Thanksgiving")- A commentary that gets funnier and funnier with each listen. (A+)
34. Spinal Tap ("This is Spinal Tap")- It's almost like they're a real band. Brilliantly-conceived, laugh-a-minute yack track from the hardest working band that never was. (A+)
35. Matt Groening, Al Jean, Mike Reiss, Jay Kogan, Wally Wolodarsky, James L. Brooks, David Silverman ("The Simpsons: The Complete Second Season"- "Treehouse of Horror")- The "Simpsons" on commentary hit a Homer run. (A+)
36. Kevin Smith, Scott Mosier, Vincent Pereira, Ben Affleck, Jason Mewes, Jason Lee ("Mallrats")- Chalk up another winner- w/ video- for View Askew. (A+)
37. Matt Groening, Al Jean, Mike Reiss ("The Simpsons: The Complete First Season"- "There's No Disgrace Like Home")- Groening and co. love the electrocution therapy scene. Hard not to agree. (A+)
38. Al Jean, Mike Reiss, Wes Archer ("The Simpsons: The Complete First Season"- "Call of the Simpsons")- Groening-less, but very funny anyway. (A+)
39. Kevin Smith, Scott Mosier, Jason Mewes, Brian O'Holleran, Jeff Anderson, David Mandel, Chris Bailey ("Clerks: The Animated Series"- Episode I)- The one that started it all, worth it just to hear Jeff Anderson say, "So Regis fucked us." Great Askew hilarity. (A+)
40. Kevin Smith, Scott Mosier, Jason Mewes, Brian O'Holleran, Jeff Anderson, David Mandel, Chris Bailey ("Clerks: The Animated Series"- Episode III)- Nothing can kill the Grimace. And yet ABC could kill this show. (A+)

Evil Dead 2: Dead by Dawn (10/10) - the only Evil Dead DVD I have, but I laughed my head off with these guys (Bruce, Sam, Scott(co-writer) and Greg(make up artist)) I love it!!

The Mummy Returns (7/10) - allright but not the best commentary, at some points it was like they were making fun of their own movie which I thought was pretty funny.

The Fast and The Furious (1/10) - I HATE the commentary on this which was a shame because I thought the movie was pretty cool but to ruin it with just a one man commentary. Rubbish.

Those are the only ones I've really listened to, I need to get Resident Evil I was just gonna get that for the movie but now I want it for the movie AND the commentary.

41. Cameron Crowe, Mom, others ("Untitled")- Very entertaining and personal. Great fun to hear Crowe and his mom together. (A+)
42. Matt Groening, Jon Vitti, Al Jean, Mike Reiss, Rich Moore ("The Simpsons: The Complete Second Season"- "Lisa's Substitute")- I'm out of superlatives for these commentaries. They're fantastic. (A+)
43. Matt Groening, Wes Archer, Jay Kogan, Wally Wolodarsky ("The Simpsons: The Complete First Season"- "Homer's Odyssey")- Black Smithers. Blinky the three-eyed fish. Homer attempting suicide. More great moments of "Simpsons" writer hilarity. (A+)
44. Grant Major, Ngila Dickson, Richard Taylor, Alan Lee, John Howe, Dan Hennah, Chris Hennah, Tania Rodger ("The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring")- Another great commentary from this landmark Special Extended Edition. Rarely has technical info been more interesting. (A+)
45. Matt Groening, Rich Moore, Jon Vitti ("The Simpsons: The Complete First Season"- "Homer's Night Out")- Listening to Vitti wonder what's so racy about the photo at the center of the episode is quite enjoyable. (A+)
46. Matt Groening, Steve Popoon, Al Jean, Mike Reiss, Rich Moore ("The Simpsons: The Complete Second Season"- "Homer vs. Lisa and the 8th Commandment")- It's grade-only from now on for "The Simpsons." (A+)
47. Matt Groening, David Silverman, James L. Brooks ("The Simpsons: The Complete First Season"- "Simpsons Roasting on an Open Fire")- One commentary down; 200-plus to go. (A+)
48. Al Jean, Mike Reiss, Rich Moore ("The Simpsons: The Complete First Season"- "The Telltale Head") (A+)
49. David Fincher, Brad Pitt, Morgan Freeman ("Se7en")- With these three together, who could go wrong with a listen? (A+)
50. Barry Sonnenfeld and Tommy Lee Jones ("Men in Black")- It wasn't the first to do video commentary (see #62), but it is the most fun example. (A+)
51. Joss Whedon ("Buffy the Vampire Slayer: The Complete First Season"- "Welcome to the Hellmouth"/"The Harvest")- Very informative for any fan of the show; if only they could get the cast regulars to sit down. (A+)
52. Danny Elfman ("Planet of the Apes")- He doesn't talk over the music (a plus in my book), but he makes what he says count. Plus, he's a real hoot. (A+)
53. Mel Gibson ("Braveheart")- A lot of silences, but when he talks, Mel always has something important to say. (A+)
54. Barrie Osborne, Mark Ordesky, Andrew Lesnie, John Gilbert, Rich Porras, Howard Shore, Jim Rygiel, Ethan Van Der Ryn, Mike Hopkins, Randy Cook, Christian Rivers, Brian Van’t Hul, Alex Funke ("The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring")- The most technically in-depth of the tracks for "Fellowship," but fascinating if you're into that sort of thing. (A+)
55. Ron Howard ("Apollo 13")- The Oscar-winner really lets it rip here. A greatly informative chat about his finest film. (A+)
56. Roy E. Disney, James Levine, Don Ernst ("Fantasia/2000")- It could have been dull, but it's a real treat hearing these three talk about the realization of Walt's dream for his masterwork. (A+)
57. Brad Pitt, Matt Damon, Andy Garcia ("Ocean's Eleven")- These three are as much fun to listen to as they are to watch in this movie. If only more cast members would join in. (A+)
58. Jerry Goldsmith ("Hollow Man")- He's not as funny as Elfman, but it's a pleasure hearing from one of film music's finest. (A+)
59. George Lucas, Rick McCallum, Ben Burtt, Rob Coleman, John Knoll, Dennis Muren, Scott Squires ("Star Wars: Episode I- The Phantom Menace)- If you want to know about technical filmmaking, start here. (A+)
60. Edward Norton, Stuart Blumberg ("Keeping the Faith")- Two friends talking about a movie very near to their heart. A real pleasure. (A+)
61. Ivan Reitman, Harold Ramis, others ("Ghostbusters")- The first visual commentary; very funny all the same. One of the best comedy commentaries. (A+)
62. Jon Favreau, Vince Vaughn, Peter Billingsly ("Made")- Can't wait to hear Favreau and Vaughn discuss "Swingers." Another visual commentary. (A+)
63. Matt Groening, Al Jean, Mike Reiss, David Silverman ("The Simpsons: The Complete Second Season"- "Blood Feud") (A+)
64. John Woo ("M:i-2")- Can't wait to hear more Woo in the future; wish we could hear him on "Windtalkers." (A)
65. Neil LaBute, Renee Zellweger, Morgan Freeman, Greg Kinnear, Chris Rock ("Nurse Betty")- A terrific cast-studded commentary. A lot of fun to listen to. (A)
66. Matt Groening, Al Jean, Mike Reiss ("The Simpsons: The Complete Second Season"- "Two Cars in Every Garage and Three Eyes on Every Fish") (A)

68. Matt Groening, Mark Kirkland, Mike Reiss ("The Simpsons: The Complete Second Season"- "The War of the Simpsons") (A)
69. Peyton Reed ("Bring It On")- Surprisingly fun; would have been better with Dunst or Dushku were involved. (A)

Monsters Inc should have 4 people on the commetary but John Lassaster and this other bloke leave and come back just before the end. Nice commentary though. They even rign soemone up! The Fugitive is the same. I'm sure Tommy Lee Jones falls asleep.

T2 and Star Wars aren't bad but it is very hard to keep up as there are so many people talking. MIB isn't bad. You can even see Tommy Lee and Barry sitting at the bottom of the screen. Fianl Fantasty isn't that good. 1 is even in Japenese! Jeez!

The Tomb Raider com. sounds as if the director is reading, Air Force 1 has questions asked and answered (pretty good), and Jurassic Park 3 is full of "That's Real" and "That's Fake". Forrest Gump is ok as is the Mummy Returns, Godzilla, Behind Enemy Lines, MI:2, Gladiator, Shrek and Theres Something About Mary.

Batman (60s) is very funny. Adam West and Burt Ward stay in character for some time. Jay and Silent Bob SB! is very funny. Jay goes and takes a piss during it. The Simpsons is good to-they just spend the whole episodes laughing. But the best ever commentary has to be This is Spinal Tap. In character and very funny.

Your right but there is a guy sitting with him asking about certain thinks. He asks a couple of questions as if hes trying to make the commenatry more interesting. It's quite annoying if you ask me. Wolfgang some thimes talks about some thing interesting, only to have this guy ask about simple things.

One thing that made me laugh was at the begining. Wolfgang is saying how the stunts are real and when a guy is shot in the head he makes a serious point that, that bit was fake.

I think the commentary on the American Pie films are great. American Pie's commentary with stars Jason Biggs, Seann William Scott. Eddie Kaye Thomas, Director Paul Weitz, Producer Chris Weitz and writer Adam Herz. The commentary is interesting and very funny, the actors especially all sound down to Earth and as if they really enjoyed their time on this film. And it's not to hard to believe with such a nice crew. Whilst American Pie 2's commentary with Biggs, Thomas Ian Nicholas and Mena Suvari is another light hearted affair that does have its share of pauses but some interesting tidbits and these three play off each other well. The "rivalry" between Nicholas and Biggs is humourous, how Biggs was given some of Nicholas' lines, and Suvari brings out laughs, at least from me, with her wacky yet cute personality and her ability to belch quite loudly.

The commentary on Cruel Intentions was also one I enjoyed listening to. Director/Writer Roger Kumble, Director of Photography Theo Van De Sande, Production Designer John Gary Steele, Costume Designer Denise Wingate, Producer Neal H.Moritz, Co-Producer Heather Zeegen and Music man Edward Shearmur. Although sometimes they talk over each other, the commentary has so much energy from all involved and provides plenty of information on all aspects. This commentary was thorughly enjoyable.

I actuay haven't listened to that many.

Evil Dead(Bruce Campbell)- Really funny, although he occasionally slips into MST3K mode. A-

Evil Dead II(Bruce Campbell, Sam Raimi, Scott Spiegel, Greg Nicotero)-Simply the best. I actually watch this movie w/commentary more than most of the other movies I own. A+

Army of Darkness(Bruce Campbell, Sam Raimi, Ivan Raimi)- A bit more serious than the others, as you can tell they're actually really proud of this one. Still pretty funny. A-

Re-Animator(Brian Yuzna, Jeffrey Combs, Bruce Abbot, and two others)- A lot of technical talk, but also people just laughing about a funny movie they made. B+

Clerks-(Kevin Smith + assorted others)- Definitely the weakest view askew track. Smith doesn't really seem comfortable doing commentaries yet, and there's no affleck or lee! C

Mallrats(Kevin Smith, Ben Affleck, Jason Lee, Jason Mewes, Vincent Periera, Scott Mosier)- This track is almost as funny as Evil Dead II's. The multi-angle feature just makes it better. A

Chasing Amy(Kevin Smith, Ben Affleck, Jason Mewes, Scott Mosier, Vincent Periera, Jon Gordon, Bob Hawks)- A little too crowded, but still pretty funny. Gordon and Hawks were of absolutely no value to the track. A-

Dogma(same participants as Mallrats)- A bit of a disappointment considering the people involved. Funny, but it actually was a little too off topic. They seemed to give up on the movie with 30 minutes left. B

J&SBSB(Kevin Smith, Scott Mosier, Jason Mewes)-Definitely the most informative View Askew track, but it suffers from the absence of Affleck and Lee. B

Fight Club(David Fincher, Brad Pitt, Edward Norton, Helena Bonham Carter)- Fincher, Pitt, and Norton are hilarious and informative. I wish they hadn't edited in Carter's comments, as she doesn't really have anything interesting to say.

The Mummy- Dull. Of course, I'm not a big fan of the movie. D

Rushmore(Wes Anderson, Owen Wilson, Jason Schwartzman)- Tells you a lot about the movie, and from three different perspectives. Wilson is pretty damn funny. B+

The Royal Tenenbaums(Wes Anderson). Tells you everything you ever wanted to know about the movie, but really dry. B

Aside from the ones already stated, I liked Martin Campbell's commentary of THE MASK OF ZORRO. It wasn't too boring. ;)

Wont comment on most of the commentaries, but Eberts on Citizen Kane is great.

The best commentary I ever listened to on DVD is Weird Al Yankovic for UHF. I was laughing my ass off, the man has so many anecdotes, and he remembers every single detail about the shoot (or at least makes us think he does) extremely funny and I loved it.

Easily Cannibal the Musical - Parker, Stone et al, go off!!! They get drunk on scotch and beer and say the craziest shit!

Made - Favreau and Vaughn are hiliarious. With little asides from Ralphie.

Fast Times at Ridgemont High is a really interesting and funny commentary.

Ghosts of Mars was very interesting and fun. Hearing Carpenter light up next to a pregnant Henstridge was a little disturbing.

The Forsaken - Well, good to hear a good commentary on a trashy film. Really well done.

Valentine and Urban Legend - Notice how Jamie Blanks goes from AmericanoAustraliano in UL then broad Aussie in Valentine. I love the contrast.

Urban Legend II - Um, did this guy even like the movie he directed?

Usual Suspects - fucking great!!!! I dug the whole lot of it. Interesting and funny!!!

Fight CLub wasn't bad. Bonham-Carter was boring.

Seven was almost ruined by Morgan Freeman for me. I love Morgan but he was a little boring.

Oceans Eleven - Garcia, Pitt and Damon were funny. The Ted Griffin and Steven Soderburgh were funnier.

The Blair Witch Project - That was really interesting. I loved the filmmakers and their great senses of humor.

That's the most memorable.

Die Hard - 5/10 (the director's mundane voice and the production designer's explanation make for a bad commentary. I turned it off half way through it)

Die Harder - 8/10 (Renny Harlin's commentary is actually very good. Informative on both the technical stuff and the fact that he knows that this is an action movie, so therefore he thought it was alright to exaggerate some of the less believable scenes.)

Die Hard w/ a Vengeance - 7/10 (Again, McTiernan's voice is so low and mundane it's hard to stay interested. But the screenwriter throws in his experience on the film and it helps. What doesn't is that they're not doing it at the same time. Another guy pops in there very now and again; no idea who he is, but he doesn't show up that often)

Forrest Gump - 8/10 (It's hard to keep track of everybody on this DVD. But it does do a good job of telling how hard it was to film this movie when it looked so simple. Looking through all the footage, the feather shots, etc. Also compliment actors like always)

Spaceballs - 10/10 (Mel Brooks is great speaking about this movie he made like 10-12 years ago. He just comments about the cast and how he enjoyed working with them, his feelings about writing, directing, and his movie career. You hear him talk about what he thought was good laughs and cheap jokes. It's just fun to listen to him. Definitely one of the best I've heard.)

Ocean's Eleven - 9/10 (The actors commentary is very funny. Garcia, Damon, & Pitt give insight to their time spent on the set, the director, and their costars. It seems like they enjoyed their experience and they let you know.
Same goes for the director/screenwriter commentary. They let you in on some of their tidbits on how they contributed to the movie. They sometimes, jokingly, start to argue about who's talking too much and stuff. Quite amusing)

Snatch - 7/10 (I really can't say much about this commentary because I fell asleep during it and haven't tried to watch it a second time. I did learn a few things about the movie and how Guy Ritchie put it together. I think.)

Braveheart - 7/10 (Mel Gibson seems like he really interested in telling us about the movie. But he does give a lot of information on the actors, the true story of Wallace, and setup for the battle scenes.)

Se7en - 9/10 (It's been a while since I've seen it, but I remember enjoying it. The fact that all three were watching this movie at the same time was a major plus. The director and two main stars discuss the movie, the story, and working with each other. It's fun to listen to.)

Shrek - 9/10 (I just watched this one and it was fun. One of the producer and the two directors discuss a lot from the technical aspect, the voices of some of the non-main characters, it was suprising to see who actually did them, and even something about "Mama Bear" I hadn't noticed before. Good times, good times.)

Matrix - 3/10 (Just technical boring stuff. Carrie Anne Moss throws in her bit at the beginning but disappears not even halfway through the movie. It didn't seem like the producers tried very hard to make it a good commentary.)

Gladiator - 7/10 (Director and other people talk about the movie, historical accuracy, battle scenes, and building the Coliseum. Nothing too special but worth listening to.)

There's still a few I haven't gotten to. I'm in the middle of watching the director/producer commentary on the Patriot, and I haven't started looking for the Memento one. Stay tuned. . .

The Matrix - 8/10.. Informative and interesting. Carrie Ann Moss talked about various scenes

CastAway - 7/10.. Director talked about how well Tom Hanks was able to carry a movie on his shoulders by himself.. Also scene location

Terminator 2 - 10/10.. Informative and interesting. Maybe I loved this one so much because I love this movie! Cameron is a great director

Simpsons Season 2.. All Episode.. ( Do I have to list them all?? ) Average.. 8/10.. All were informative and usually they just laughed alot!

There are tons more but I can't remember them :(

81. Ang Lee, James Schamus ("Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon")- Lee is more about the technical and logistics of making the film, while Schamus is more self-depracating in this pleasurable commentary on one of the finest films ever. (A-)
82. Lalo Schifrin ("Rush Hour")- Kind of hard to figure out what he's trying to say at times, but another winning composer track. (A-)
83. David Fincher, Brad Pitt, Edward Norton, Helena Bonham Carter ("Fight Club")- Carter feels out of place (especially being recorded separate), but otherwise a very fine track from Fincher, Pitt, and co. (A-)
84. Jeff Most, John Shirley ("The Crow")- Some interesting tidbits, but Proyas and other creative talents are sorely missed. For the 10th Anniversary, bring that track back! (A-)
85. Vlada Petric ("Andrei Rublev")- For a scholarly track, this scene-specific effort for Tarkovsky's masterpiece is more interesting than one would think. (A-)
86. Marti Noxon ("Buffy the Vampire Slayer: The Complete Second Season"- "What My Line, Parts I & II")- She's kind of all over the place, and not as interesting as Joss, but still deserving of being heard. (A-)
87. Sam Raimi, Kirsten Dunst, Laura Ziskin, Grant Curtis ("Spider-Man")- A disappointment considering what Raimi's capable of on a yack track (see "Evil Dead II"), and recording separately- Raimi & Curtis, Dunst & Ziskin- doesn't help, but the techie info and stories are pretty entertaining, and that zany Raimi humor does shine through every once in a while. (A-)
88. Paul Verhoeven, Jan De Bont ("Basic Instinct")- Purely technical filmmaking stuff, but pretty good on that level. (A-)
89. Adam Shankman, Mandy Moore, Shane West ("A Walk to Remember")- Not a lot of info here (though apparently 36 deleted scenes were left off the DVD), but it is pretty fun to hear these three remember working on the film. (A-)
90. George Meyer, Wes Archer ("The Simpsons: The Complete First Season"- "The Crepes of Wrath") (A-)
91. Lokke Heiss ("Nosferatu")- Not a lot of fun, but good for film history and context for this landmark horror film. (B+)
92. Herbert Coleman, Robert A. Harris, James C. Katz ("Vertigo")- Not unlistenable (it does have some info), but you long for Hitchcock, Stewart, or the still-living Kim Novak. (B+)
93. Peter Bogdanovich ("Citizen Kane")- I know Peter knew Welles very well, but Ebert's commentary is better IMHO. (B)
94. Kevin Smith, Scott Mosier, Ben Affleck, Jason Mewes, Robert Hawk, Jon Gordon, Vincent Pereira ("Chasing Amy")- Not bad View Askew commentary, but nothing I'll really want to listen to again and again. (B)
95. David Greenwalt ("Buffy the Vampire Slayer: The Complete Second Season"- "Reptile Boy")- Not bad for not trying, he just isn't as interesting as creator Whedon. Hopefully will be better when "Angel" starts hitting the R1 streets. (B)
96. Kevin Smith, Scott Mosier, Jason Mewes, Vincent Pereira, Brian O'Halloran, others ("Clerks")- See "Chasing Amy" (B)
97. Kevin Smith, Scott Mosier, Vincent Pereira ("Dogma")- The technical commentary for Smith's religious comedy isn't nearly as much fun as the one with Affleck. Very informative though. (B)
98. Robert DeNiro, Ben Stiller, Jay Roach, Jane Rosenthal ("Meet the Parents")- A disappointing commentary. Some funny stuff, but because everyone's not in the same room (and across country), it's not as funny as it should be. (B-)
