Interesting story here.

Read here (http://thearnoldfans.com/news/626.htm)

Not bad, this might work.

No No No, horrible, if you're gonna make a sequel and can't use Arnold, don't use a look-a-like. Might as well get some other Buff dude that's badass and not related to arnie.
Like Vin Diesal or The Rock types.

For a minute there, I imagined Hugh Grant wearing the black leather coat and riding a motorcycle through L.A.! ;)

Anywho, I totally agree 'darkface,' they should get another big man to portray the T-850, NOT opt for a look-a-like. Look at the James Bond series, they're still hugely popular (Even if the last one did suck majorly), and they never went completely for a look-a-like when recasting, and Terminator should do the same thing, maybe they'll strike gold by finding an actor better than the original (Dalton), or they could find someone worse (Moore). :)

Personally, I dont care for the casting of T4 anymore. If Arnie's out, he's out and there's nothing anyone can do aobut that. What would be cool is if they get Cameron back.

You can't make a Terminator movie without Arnie.

It would be like casting James Logan as Indiana Jones.

:D :D :D

Screw it, just use the humans led by John Conner fighting robots. Then there's no need for the Guvna!

For $400 I could be seen driving around town with Arnie!

Hah ha hah. I bet that would be his fee for doing the film as well. If this happens I will not watch another movie ever again...any movie.

Horrible.

isnt Will grant.. Ed Asner from Mary Tyler Moore Show???

I think he is a little old to be playing a Terminator.

Arnold fans just need to realize that he's not going to be in the next movie. This next one should just involve John Conner(Nick Stahl) and the human race against Skynet's army. No need for a Arnold in it and a good way for the series to end.

ACTUALLY.. if they do make a 4th one and it is John Connor as the leader of the resistance.. than not only would they NEED Arnold Schwarzennegger.. they'd also need to bring back:
Robert Patrick
Kristanna Loken
Michael Biehn

because all of these characters were snt back from the future.. the future that would be present on screen in Terminator 4. A great scene would be John Connor meeting his father for the first time when Connor is in fact older than his father!

It'd be EXCELLENT if they brought back Michael Biehn as Kyle Reese. So good, in fact, Arnold's not being in it would slip from my mind.

Mikes all old now though....

Movie magic can cure the aging factor for Mr. Biehn..and besides I think Mike should do this if the situation arises. He needs to get back in some good graces.

*grabs bullwhip and snaps it against Doc's arse*

Easy, kid. ;)

That being said, I agree on the basic idea...why do we even need a T4, anyways? ;)

Because you cant end the Franchise/ Series the way they did in T3... they have to END the series. That is my feeling... for any movie that goes on to become a series or franchise, you HAVE to sew up loose ends and make sure that you have an actual ending. An ending that is either Good Guy wins or Bad Guy wins. But you cant have an ending that leaves a whole nother story open. The next movie needs to show Judgement day in its full, with no voice over.. just a violent, kids walking down the street eating ice cream and than BOOM big nuke hits and everyone dies. Than they show Connor and Claire Danes after the wreckage coming out.. they could even pay Homage to The Omega Man. They walk around all the wreckage, and they find other people.. but since it has been so long since judgement day has happened (got to make sure they age good... they have to be in the shelter long enough for the fall out to be over). Shit they could even do it like Plante Of The Apes... sept the apes are Machines, that hold humans captive. And when Connor n Danes get out they free the human race and start the resistance against the machines!

Thats.. Thats just what i think!

(If they use any of my ideas.. i want a Story By Credit and just like a million bucks.. i figure Schwrazennegger can take a million less to pay me off)!

Let me make my position clear on this: various Terminator units can be played by various actors. Robert Patrick was great as the T-1000, and Kristanna Loken did a good job as the T-X (which I am admittedly not a big fan of). But only Arnie can play the Terminator. If they try to get some impersonator in the same role...well, that's just sad. I do think there should be a T4, but it should take an entirely different approach, without the T-800 (at least not the exact same model).

Got a bit scared there...I read that Hugh Grant will be the next Terminator...

Call me crazy, but I'm rooting for the man himself, Ashton Kutcher, to get the role. He'd be great.
