I have a feeling Mr. Pink and Mr. Brown will be the hardest covers to find. I want a Mr. Pink cover, if I can't get that, I'll get Mr. Blond.
Strider
I'd like a Mr Pink. If I can't get that then I'll go for Mr Orange

Mr. Pink would be my choice, but I'm not really that picky, if I saw a Mr.Brown I'd get that but doubt I will.

Man, I've been thinking about this for weeks. I'm a little nervous that I'm gonna get to the store and freeze up. i'll start to reach for Pink, then grab a White or Brown and I'll start sweating, pacing back and forth going over the scenes in my head. Then I'll probably start shaking, then the nausea will kick in and the foaming at the mouth and inevitably y head will explode and all that will be left is my cold dead corpse clutching a Mr. White in my left hand, Mr. Pink in my right, and Mr.Brown, Orange, and Blonde scattered about.
You know, all they would have had to do was make a few features (like an interview with the actor) unique to each one and then I could justify buying all 5. But they didn't and now I must decide. Damn them, damn them all to hell. ...and fuck them in their stupid asses.
I'll let you know how it all turns out.

I just got a copy of Mr. Brown, and the DVD case had a yellow back, if that's what you mean. I think that that's the case for each DVD.

I was at Best Buy and they had like a hundred Mr. Pinks I wanted Mr. Brown, so if I can find one for fifteen bucks or so I'll order it.

Well, I took my daughter with me to Best buy (where they have it for 15.99 with a $5.00 gift card by the way), and they didn't have any Brown . So now I was down to 4 choices. I had a Mr. White and Mr. Pink in my hands looking back and forth and my daughter keeps saying,"Daddy get the Pink one". How could I refuse. I brought home Mr. Pink ...whew I'm glad that's over.

I'll sell my copy of Pink because that was my 4th choice.
Brilliant marketing idea though.

I personally want nice guy eddie. Where the fuck is his DVD!? Or Joe?! Ahhh, nevermind. Either pink or white. Orange seems to be everybody's last resort, or only if there's nothin else pick.

I initially wanted a Mr. Pink, but I got a Mr. Brown (it sounded as if it was "rarer"). I dont even know why I bought the DVD. The reason is because I have the original and am not really interested in the special features.. Brilliant Marketing idea. Should I keep it sealed as a collectors item? You think it will be worth anything?

What color would they have made the backgrounds if they made a Nice Guy and a Joe dvd??? Also, while we are talking about this: why the fuck does Mr. Blue always get excluded from everthing???!!!! I mean, he doesnt have a dvd, he doesnt have any of the Res Dogs figures made of him. If I were Eddie Bunker, I'd be pissed.

I got the Mr. Pink yesterday, but only because I went to four different stores looking for Mr. Brown and couldn't find it anywhere. Was it even released??

The Mr.Brown edition is limited but I'm not sure to how many units. It probably will never be worth anything, but you may be able to sell it on e-bay if you advertise it well:
"Limited Edition Tarantino edition of Reservoir Dogs, one-of-a-kind"

WWJD?
What would you do? I dont think that there is a significant difference between the collectors edition and the bare bones edition. There is no commentary and reviewers havent given high ratings to the video or audio translations of the disc.
Im thinking that the DVD might have more value in 2003 or 2004 during the releases and probable successes of Kill Bill and Glorious Bastards. ( http://movies.yahoo.com/upcoming/bydirector/t/#quentintarantino ) The thing is that I don't think that I can succumb to the temptation of keeping the Tarantino DVD sealed. And why the hell would I want to keep it sealed for a potential profit of $5-6? LOL..
Any opinions?

Interesting observation.
On amazon.com, they are charging $2 more for the Mr. White DVD. Why do you think that is?
Also..Mr. Brown is not included in the 4-pack.
When I walked through Media Play last night to find my copy(Mr. Pink), I came across about 20 Mr. Browns, 5 Oranges, 2 of White and Blonde, and 1 SOLE COPY OF MR. PINK, which I snatched up like a rabid dog. That's right, last one in the store. And the price I paid? 10.46. Admittedly, I caught them with their pants down:
The regular price was 24.99
I got 20% off automatically(sale)
I had a ten dollar replay coupon
I'm going back tomorrow to get Jackie Brown for 15 bucks.

I'm the minority in saying I bought the Mr.. Blonde Cover. hard to beat Michael Madsen
Patrick Bateman

Agreed. I also bought the Mr. Blonde cover when a local Sam Goodys were just stocking it. The only selections they had were Mr. Pink and Mr. Blonde. And they were about equal as far as copies (obviously).
Needless to say, I snatched up a Mr. Blonde and proceeded to dance around towards the register like Madsen in RD.
