Ok, what the hell happened to this movie?! Im a fan of the first, I own it and have seen it mulitple times. A couple months ago I saw previews galore for it, at the theaters and on tv, then all of a sudden: nothing. Did they push the release date back or something and thats why I havent seen/heard anything about it in about a month?

The only ads I remember seeing for it are theatrical trailers, far from a galore. But I think it was pushed back, or at least them waiting for it to get closer to release before stuffing it down our throats. It'll suck then, especially when this movie looks like a piece of shit

It was pushed back to next April after this fall got so packed full of movies that were either too similar or had better buzz.

hmmm.. I don't know. really liked the first one..sequels are always hard to judge, i am up for giving it a chance for sure
I was also wondering about this movie. Maybe it'll come out for Christmas or something. I personally want to see what some of my favorite characters are up too. MMMM.....Amanda Peet.

I like the first one. I thought it was very funny. That is why when I first saw the trailer for this movie, it was a disheartening experience. This movie looks beyond bad, even beyond AWFUL! It just looks grating, cringe-inducingly stupid! It looks pretty close to unwatchable! And I didn't think that was possible with such a talented cast! :(

The first one was atrocious. It was so bad it bordered on offensive; a slap in the face to any movie fan.
I had the misfortune of seeing the trailer to the sequel recently (I was stone-faced throughout) and I firmly believe this has a very good chance at being the one comedy in the history of film that will produce not a single laugh from anyone on our planet.
I actually feel embarrassed for the actors. But they knew what they were doing, they read the script and still signed on. And for that, I pray that the film not only tanks (an easy assumption) but that the error of judgement the cast & crew made by signing onto this film causes their careers to slow down for a few years. That will teach them.

The trailer wasn't great, but Matt Perry's impeccable physical comedy alone elicited a few laughs from me.
Just watching the guy makes me laugh.

This has to be one of the worst trailers ever made, if not the worst. And I see they watered it down to a PG-13 this time. Chandler, I mean Matthew Perry, should be shot in the head so he can never make another movie. I'm sure the reason he is back on drugs & booze is this movie's trailer.

Why in the name of all that is good and holy did they feel it necessary to make this film? WHY? WHY??!???

The first one was an embarrassment to everyone who made it and everyone who saw it. I didn't laugh ONCE.
You can guess how excited I am for this, seeing as it's one of the most unnecessary sequels in history.

Never saw the first one, but can somebody please tell me what the fuck this is supposed to be? A GOP toughboy like Bruce Willis walking around with flowers and fancy slippers?

Am I the only one who loved the first film and thinks the sequel looks hilarious?

They seriously couldn't come up with anything more original than Perry thinking a balloon popping is a gunshot? And of course, right after someone accuses him of being scared of everything. A four year-old could write this shit. Horrible.

How can you look at his reaction to the balloon popping and NOT laugh? :D

One thing I want to know is why this sequel is rated PG-13? The first film was rated R for violence, language, and nudity (Amanda Peet, anyone?). So exactly why did this sequel only get a PG-13? Let me guess, to make more money, right?
I don't care much about this, but I was just wondering. Nevertheless, I'm not seeing "The Whole Ten Yards", because the first one was dreadfully boring, and this one looks "ten" (forgive the pun) times worse..... ;)

Because it is so old. How long has he been playing Chandler? 10 years? And he plays him not only on Friends, but in every movie he has been in. He has zero range. He can only play one part. I am so sick of it. Plus, the bit itself is old. So you combine a stale bit with a stale character. In my book, not a good combination.

The first one had its moments ,but each time they show the trailer in the theatre its embarrassing how bad it looks.
