Joblo had some news on this not long ago, it had rob englund talking about it. IT is just rumors to what we know, bt it looks like it mayb be in the works soon enough.

The last I've heard about this, Bruce Campbell (Ash) said he'd only do the movie as long as he wins. That's ignorant to say, but I do kind of understand what he means. In the "Friday" and Nightmare" movies, the few, remaining characters would manage to defeat Fred and Jay. Still, he's against two horror icons. That's still demanding on his part.
Personally, I don't want anymore versus films concerning our beloved horror icons to happen. Certainly not a sequel to the FvJ. It wouldn't work. It would take away from the magic of the first film. First, "Helloween (Michael vs. Pinhead)" rumors finally died off (Moustapha Akkad won't do it), and I'll have to wait a little longer for this other ridiculous concept to die off. Let Freddy and Jason have their own single sequels again.

I liked Freddy vs Jason, but this sounds too much.

I doubt it will come to be. Pretty stupid idea.

Yes, Freddy vs. Jason vs, Ash would be extremely stupid. They should leave it Freddy vs. Jason and not add anyone else if they want to continue the series.

I doubt this film will come to be.
Of all things, there's a couple of "Friday The 13th" scripts that New Line considered if FvJ was successful...and the rest is history there. At least that's what I heard a while back when FvJ was still ripe from succession. If true, Jason may take us on one of his infamous tours around Crystal Lake...
As for Freddy, it's been reported from time to time of "A Nightmare on Elm Street" prequel dealing with Freddy in his human years as the "Springfield Slasher" before he became the dream master. Not that I'd really want it, but the concept has always been considered. Personally, I want Freddy to take on Alice (from Nightmare4/5) one more time with her now-teenage son.
Robert Englund was quoted as saying that if this movie is going to be made, which they are in neg. for, then Ash would kill Freddy and Jason so that there wouldn't be any more sequel. Basically, Englund said that Ash would kill two franchises with one chainsaw.;)

How does his desire to not see a character he created killed off show his lack of knowledge?

He created Ash? Thought that was Raimi.
If it DOES come to be, I'll see it only if Raimi comes around. He has the skill to make it at least watchable more than any two-bit music video director.

Same here man Idk why people don't wanna see it! Obviously there's gonna be some kinda sequel to FvJ since they left it open with both of them living! Too bad Freddy just doesn't kill all of their asses MHUAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

Ash really has nothing to do w/either of them but hes a monster killer guy...sorry i dunno wat else to call him. If u think about it, freddy had nothing to do w/jason (besides they are horror icons and kill a shitload of ppl) but they found a way to put them together in a kick ass movie.
Actually, Ash kills deadites. So if deadites are on the earth, then Freddy and Jason should also kill deadites, as well as Michael, Leatherface, Pinhead, Chucky, Pumpkinhead, Leprechaun (even if he's in the hood again), Candyman.....See this vs movie thing is now off the hook
Don't care for it, Don't like it, Don't need it.
Leave characters in their own movies where they belong.

Ash is an interesting character and the Evil Dead series is good, Jason and Freddy and their respective series are NOT. The two should not mix. For God's sake, etc.

As mcuh as I would like to see Bruce Campbell bring Ash back to life, doing a Freddy VS Jason VS Ash is so damn DUMB!!!
I haven't seen FvsJ yet, but I plan to eventually. But adding Ash is so pointless.
I personally hope it never gets made. I would prefer an Evil Dead 4 before FvsJvsAsh.

Well there ya go. Nothing to do with them, dont put them together.
As for Freddy and Jason, true, they dont have anything to do with each other, other than killing kids. I read once, a long time ago now, that one of the scripts for Freddy vs. Jason had something to do with Jason being one of the original kids of Elm Street, but that never happened so whatever.
But still, if they have nothing to do with each other, then dont put them together. Also, everybody knows who Freddy and Jason are, but many dont know who Ash is. So if you put him in a movie with the biggest horror icons ever, sans Michael Myers, people are gonna say 'who is Ash? and then the movie wont make much money because only us 'fanboys' will go see it.
Read my lips. No new taxes...
Shit, my bad. No fvsjvsa!

I hate when people ask what Ash has to do with Freddy and Jason.
Jason had nothing to do with Freddy! People just thought it would be cool to see them fight, so they did. That was the sole reasoning behind it, and if they decide they want to add Ash to the mix then i see no problem with that.
As long as he has plently on one liners and Freddy and Jason get to have some blood soaked mayhem its all good!

Versus movies have a certain charm you can't help but want to see. I've rarely seen on that is really good, but can't remember not having fun at one. I am old enough to remember King Kong Vs Godzilla. When we heard it was coming massive bets of Comic Books and Baseball cards floated through the streets of Brooklyn, and when we went to the little theater on Church Avenue to see it there was a line of us between 10 and 13 year olds ready and waiting to see who would win.
Watching it today, I admit it was a real turkey, and I finally understood all those zipper jokes bandied about way back when. But I remember the thrill, the fun, the excellence of that versus movie.
I am all for them. Give me Freddy Vs Jason, Ash Vs Fletch, Charlies Angels Vs She Spies, I don't care. I am already at the Alien Vs Predator movie, and if Spider-Man Vs Wolverine or the X-Men, make mine the 3rd Avenue Theater off 13th street accross the street from the NYU dormitory. If Erin Brokavitch Vs Get Shorty, its worth the price of the push up bra.
I'm Waiting for Joblo Vs RottenTomato.com. Now that's a fight of those with the power of opinion you just can't miss. I'll take two tickets.
I don't know why, but I think I would love to see a Ash vs Fletch movie!:D
