I'm a sucker for things which are limited edition and all that, I have 2001: ASO from the WB classic series and I have to say I love the packaging, anyway, I'm thinking of buying the following when my student loan comes through:

from the WB Deluxe Series:

Blade Runner - Deluxe Series Box Set (http://www.playserver2.com/play247.asp?page=title&r=R2&title=82771) I haven't got it because I'm waiting for the 3-disc but it's my second favourite film ever.

The Matrix - Deluxe Series Box Set (http://www.playserver2.com/play247.asp?page=title&r=R2&title=104645) I have The Matrix (well my brother has 'borrowed' it). but not the revisited extra disc.

Blazing Saddles - Deluxe Series Box Set (http://www.playserver2.com/play247.asp?page=title&r=R2&title=86241) Funniest film ever in my book, don't have it at all on DVD.

from the WB Classic Series:

Full Metal Jacket - Classic Series Box Set (http://www.playserver2.com/play247.asp?page=title&r=R2&title=96719) my second favourite war film which I dont have on DVD but can get for £7.50 the regular edition, this is £30.

Clockwork Orange - Classic Series Box Set (http://www.playserver2.com/play247.asp?page=title&r=R2&title=96718) Never seen the film but reckon I'd like it.

so what do you think?

The Clockwork Orange box set looks insanely cool to me. I think I'll pick that one up http://www.joblo.com/ubb/smile.gif

To answer your question, I don't know if you should buy all of those sets because I haven't seen a bunch of those movies. So I can't really judge.

Dude, if you have the money, go for it! They seem very pricey to me but the packaging is fuckin' fantastic! I want more money to blow on DVD's... http://www.joblo.com/ubb/frown.gif

seems like an unnessary waste to me. i mean for the price of two of those you can get probably all of the regular ones. but if you want to pay that much for non dvd media thats ok.

lol, I saw that, but already have that edition and the soundtrack and plan to buy the SE soon.

I think 3 versions of the flick and 2 of the soundtrack is too much!!
