View Full Version : Andromeda DVD
This rather uninspired series has recently made its DVD premiere recently.
I call the series uninspired because, in the 2 seasons the show has been on, it has simply been going over material & cliches which other sci-fi series such as the first 3 Star Trek shows have already done better.
The show's characters haven't exactly endeared themselves to me either.

That's true. I liked Sorbo's work on Hercules, & Andromeda has a great premise, but, IMHO, the show has yet to live up to its promise.

Dude if you think Andromeda is better than Enterprise you need to start watching again, may Andromeda bites it hard.
Unfortunately it has been bought for another two seasons, but like all Atlantis Alliance projects it will eventually be run into the ground.

Both Enterprise and Andromeda episodes are basically idedtical to the stories in TNG, DS9 and Voyager.
Unfortunately I think that in the next year or so we will see these shows ending as well.

There is no way Enterprise will go off until at least season 6 or 7 it is the only Star Trek property now and the studios and networks would never let that cash cow go.
Expect another incarnation of Star Trek when Enterprise finishes it's run in about 6 years.
