No, come on, everyone forgets the Maximum Clonage saga. ---Theres now two Spidermans, battling emotionally to decide who is the real one. The Jackal has now created literally hundreds of other Spiderman duplicates, and the two "real" spiderman must battle yet anotehr clone, gone wrong, named Kaine and defeat the hundreds of Spiderman, all with the same powers as each of them.

Now THAT would kick total ass!

that would be way to comfusing and comic booky and that is what these movies are trying to get away from. the same with venom or the pheonix saga in x-men, it would be way to much for a single movie.

Anyways Venom would be cool to see but I would also like to see some smaller villians myself, like the RHINO, MORBIUS, LIZARD,

and I know she's not a villain but it would be sweet if they could put in Shadow Cat.

do you mean black cat? and yes i suppose there would be a way to codense venom into one movie, however they might have to forgo the intire plot of him having the suit first and realizing that it is evil and just have it go right to brock

I'd like to see the Scorpion. I think with the tech they have they could build him a better suit and have him whip spidey's ass until spidey gets all Rocky on him at the end of course!

I'd definatley would want them to bring in Felicia/Blackcat.
I hope she makes a cameo in number 2 (as Felicia), same with Eddie Brock.

As for villians, I think it's too early for the Insidious Six but a good time to start bringing in minor villians like Mysterio, Scorpion, Shocker, Rhino etc...

Not to be ripoffish, but maybe a kind of Batman Returns thing. She's wouldn't necesarily be the main villain, but her and Spidey would clash not knowing each other (of course), and then at the end, find out each other's identities. She could have a thing for him (sticking close the comics here), and in the end, he would walk away for Mary Jane.


Actually, if they were going to take a storyline from the comics, I would love to see Maximum Carnage. Although I know it couldn't be done... waaaaay too many characters for a two hour film. Captain America (and really, if he's going to appear in a film, it should be his own first...), Firestar, Iron Fist, Deathlock, Morbius, Cloak & Dagger, Nightwatch... and then the bad guys. Venom (depending on how you look at it), Carnage, Shriek, Carrion, Demigoblin, the Doppleganger ect. ect.

Although if they followed the comics to a tee, it would be a kick ass movie for sure! Couldn't be done though. If that was the case, they'd have to make it a four hour movie, or split it up...


I'd love to see Venom appear, and I've always kind of liked Rhino and Scorpion.

I second that, the clone storyline nearly ruined the Spiderman comics and I am sure they are not dumb enough to make the same mistake with the Spider-Man movies (at least I hope not).

As for the third Spider-Man movie, I would love to see the Black Suit/Venom story.

Only problem with Brock is he can't act that good. :( I'm I the only one who has seen a pic from Spidey 2 with a one-armed guy wearing a white doctor's robe? I saw it a long time ago at IGN, but the pic is gone now I think. We all know who a one-armed doctor would be right? I wonder if he'll be making a quick apperance in Spidey 2, or they're just gonna set-up for 3.

In related news, Ain't It Cool News broke the news that actor Dylan Baker (Thirteen Days, Road to Perdition) has been cast as Dr. Curt Conners (who'd later become The Lizard) in Spidey 2. The link above also has the first pic of Baker on the set with Maguire.

I think it will be Venom as the main villian, and someone else, probably the lizard as a second villian. See the above post about the lizard. And if you listen closely in the first spidey film, they mention eddie Brock (Venom) so I think we'll see him before too long.

NuclearMisfit, I gotta agree. Brock Lesnar is the only person who could pull it off. I am not sure if he can act at all though. However, he has the perfect size. I'd be pissed off if they made Venom CGI.

Venom and Carnage have to show up in the same movie, whichever sequel number that may be, with Kraven hunting them both as well as spider-man. I think that would make for a kick ass movie because the characters and storyline would fit so well together.

I clearly remember one sat morning Spider-Man, where blade, morbious, the punisher, and man-spider were all in it, blade was hunting morbius, who mutated spider-man into the man-spider, who was being hunted by the punisher. It was freaking amazing, it could possibly be the greatest thing ever to be captured on film.
