I'd definately agree with you on that. And I'll add the entire scene (from Tomorrow Never Dies) in the parking garage with the remote controlled BMW. There are some cool stunts throughout that scene.

I loved the entire melting ice palace sequence in DIE ANOTHER DAY, as well as the car chase that preceded it.

And, help me out here, there was one awesome stunt where Bond (Roger Moore) skiied off a cliff, and the camera just showed him sailing through the air for a prolonged period of time, but I can't remember if it was A VIEW TO A KILL or THE SPY WHO LOVED ME.

personally, i feel there have been too many cool stunts in the Bond catalogue to make an accurate choice. the one thats coming to me at the moment is the bungee jump at the start of Goldeneye. or the boat chase in The World is not Enough.

but there are so damn many to chose from ;)

How about...the ENTIRE opening sequence of The World is Not Enough?

The PERFECT Bond opening, right there.

The best part of it is when the boat goes upside own underwater, and he straightens his tie. It's just typically James Bond-esque.

The car chase scene in "Man with the Golden Gun" with the bridge jump (the side-loop). It's Bond in optima forma. The humor, the excitement and the jump itself. Simple but hard to do!

Yes the one where Bond skiis off a cliff and opens up the Union Jack parachute is the beginning of The Spy Who Loved Me

My personal favorite is the opening of Octopussy where Bond is fleeing from what looks like a Mexican army base...the horse trailor opens up and he pops out in this zippy jet plane...the troops fire a missile at him and he eventually steers it into the hanger which he was trying to blow up, when he was caught...the explosion from the missile as Bond flys out through the doors is awesome! I just love the way it looks!

How about the thrilling and REALLY exciting swordfight in Die Another Day. The opening scene of Die Another Day is also GREAT.

I also love the helichopter/motorcycle chase in Tomorrow Never Dies and also in that movie where Bond and Michelle Yoeh's character are falling down the building holding on the big billboard thing.


And finally, the whole climatic fight on top of the Golden Gate Bridge at the end of A View to a Kill was pretty cool too.

In the audio commentary on the DVD, the director said it only took 1 take, and he was kinda down because it was too perfect, he thought the audience would assume it was fake or special effect :)

Octopussy has probably got the best stunts of any Bond movie.

The opening hangar sequence & those 2 stuntmen duking it out on the plane at the end out rank even the skiiing off a cliff in The Spy Who Loved Me.

As for Die Another Day did it have any stunts?

I thought all the action was CGI.

Every Stunt in the whole film looked like a cheesy green screen CGI combination. Heck, the stunts in the new Bond Videogame look more menacing.

I'll go with the oldschool stunts. Car chases have't been filmed well in most Hollywood movies since the 1970's.
