I dont know if anyone else finds these to be annoying but I see them every 10 minutes on TV.
When I think it is going to be a commerical just for The Return of the King, I am getting into it and think that I will be treated to some great ROTK teasers to tide me over, but then about 10 seconds into the commerical Gandolf turns into a 64 bit computer character and once again it is a fucking Playstation ad.

What gives?
Did Lord of the Rings and Playstation make some deal where they would advertise together? Kinda like killing two birds with one stone. "Hey lets advertise for the movie but then add the video game in it too"

This really isnt a rant, but I just kinda get annoyed by it.

Seeing any bit of footage to ROTK will make me happy. Video game I can care less about.

I was kinda disappointed the first time I saw the commercial, but luckily, they only use one version of the commercial, so I know how it begins. Once it begins, I remember that it's a VG commercial, and prepare myself.

Still, ROTK is looking like it'll be a really good movie

I think it's actually a really good commercial. I was shocked when I first thought "Wow, are the special effects really that bad in the new movie?", and then realized it was a video game after a second. Graphics are a bit better thesed ays, I guess.

Yeah, I've been angry everytime I've seen it. The did the same thing with The Two Towers.

Actually, I think Gandolf is 128 bit, not 64 bit. (Or something like that, I have to refresh on my nex-gen system standings)

Yes, he's 128 bit, but the whole 8/16/32/64 whatever megabit means a lot less now then it did in the 16 bit days.
