The Joker. Jack Nicholson just plain nailed it with that role.

I enjoyed Jim Carry playing The Riddler.

What in the HELL was Arnie thinking with Mr. Freeze?

Jack Nicholson as The Joker. The worst has got to be Mr. Freeze!

He was thinking "30 Million!? Holy Fuck! That could fund my political avenues!"

The best by far has to be Jack Nicholson and his portrayal of The Joker. A close second would be Danny DeVito as The Penguin.

Be it the comic, the films, or the TV series - I'd say the Joker every day of the week and twice on Sundays.

He's the best superhero villain ever IMO.

He's that huge goon that Poison Ivy orders around in Batman & Robin. I can't believe they wasted him in such a small role...

And as for my pick, I'll sum it up with one quote....

"Have you ever danced with the devil in the pale moonlight?"

I suppose The Joker is the best but i have other favs. like:

the penguin..hell yeah
the riddler..kinda creepy
Max Shreck..not really a villian but "wowie wow wow" ;)
Catwoman..she was really rockin' that outfit

Mr. Freeze and Poison Ivy are just really corny but 2face looks cool though

Mmmmm... didn't know that dumb supporting mole was actually some kind of classic villian from the comics... I thought it was another Schumacher sick fantasy, like the nipples ;)

Penguin was just ok to me. And these were the only GOOD ones since Poison Ivy and Mr. Freeze were TERRIBLE villians.

In Arnie's defense, I enjoyed him as Mr. Freeze. He has his more of his share of "funny" puns, but in the long run, he was the best thing about B&R. They also used him well in the action department. All about that freeze acton with his gun!

Oh yeah, as favorite villian, it would have to be Two-Face. He was always my favorite villian in the long run, and Tommy Lee Jones, a really good actor, portrayed really well.

And back to Mr. Freeze - if you guys really think he was that bad, look at Poison Ivy. She was nothing like she was in the cartoon. I haven't read the comic books, so I can't comment her from there, but either way, the way they portrayed her in B&R was too cheesy. She was a joke and an atrocity. I also didn't find that hot either.

I think Mark Hamills vocal interpretation of The Joker in Batman: The Animated Series gets criminally under-rated these days.

I totally agree. Jim Carrey actually made Batman Forever watchable for me.

The Joker(Nicholson) and The Riddler(Carrey) are probably my favorites because they both pulled off being crazy and funny at the same time. Catwoman (Pfeiffer) I also liked, she was sexy and mysterious.

if were talking the poorly done movie version' villians...
i would pick Catwoman, though she wasnt completely villian...
she looked the best and was portrayed greatly!

Was I the only one who had a problem with Two Face being played by Tommy Lee Jones in Forever - while the dharacter of Harvey Dent was played by Billy D Williams in the originale film???

I don't really think that's a major flaw in these movies. I mean, what about Bruce Wayne? He was played by a different actors in the third and fourth entries. I really don't know what to think about that. Of all things, Christopher Reeve stuck to the role of Clark Kent no matter how mediocre the "Superman" sequels became. In the case of Mr. Wayne, it went for better (Val Kilmor was pretty decent) orworse (George Clooney was miscast).

Anyway, back to Two-face, yeah, I always wondered about that, if that was supposed to be him before. However, it was for the better. I felt that Tommy Lee Jones was perfect for the role. If anything, he's just a bit underused. Going back to Billy Dee Williams, he probably didn't want to reprise his role. Next to his role in the "Star Wars" movies, he didn't do many movies since. He's also 66 now; he would have been 57/58 then (not that age counts, but still).

Yeah, hands down Joker. I love insane clowns.

Riddler's definitely second tho, cuz he's sorta an insane clown.

I only hope that when I die I can come back as Harley Quinn....

See, Batman Forever wasnt as bad as everyone says. Riddler and 2-Face were the best villianous duo......Robin on the other hand was horrible, Chris o'Donnel sucks hard. Val Kilmer wasntthat bad either.

If it wasn't for Carrey and Jones, I don't think it would've been all that good. They were great. Kilmer was too cold for me. He was great as Batman but horrible as wayne. And O'donnell, well, I'll just say he makes a better D'Artagnan.
