Well, thanks to Videoeta.com, I found out that this will be going STV on Janurary 2, 2004. A small site, dedicated to the entire Tremors series, is up called www.stampede-entertainment.com
If you click on Tremors 4 once you get there, it will take you to an even smaller site that reveals that the movie is set in 1889. The plot, I found out, is that the town of Rejection, Nevada (later Perfection) is slowly becoming a booming mining town, but in an unfortunate day, 17 miners are killed by 'unseen forces'. It's up to Hirium Gummer (Burts great grandfather) to stop the 'Graboids'.
Sounds good to me, Im a huge fan of the series, own all 3 films so far, and watch them all the time. Hirrium Gummer will of course be played by the same guy that plays Burt, the great Michael Gross. I think it will be interesting to see what happens in this one, and how they deal with the 'graboids'. I wonder what they will call them though, since 'Graboids' wasnt invented until 1989 by the late Walter Chang.
Anyways, I'll be picking this up come 01/02/04.

First time I've ever disagreed with ya, dude.
I love the first Tremors! While the sequels for this movie have generally been shit piles, it's nice to see them trying something new by going back in time.
This could be alright.

I wonder if the decendants of Walter Chang will still be running the store because if you think about it, it goes a little after the building of the Transcontinental Railroad which thousands of oriental americans along with others built not to far from Arizona.
I think this is a good idea, Burt Gummer is the man remember in Tremors 2 when he comes back from a hunt and hes looking all beat up and he mentions something about The Graboids ate his weapons so he had to reley on hand to hand combat. Such a badass.

I loved the first flick, goofy and corny enough to be a decent monster flick.
But the follow ups were terrible.
And don't even get me started on the series or the Sci-Fi Channel.
Canceling Farscape then making a Tremors series, paleeeese!
I now shun anything Sci-Fi on principle.
But we all know how lame and ignorant the people with the money are so expect more and more of this crap.
God help us.
Out...........................

The first one was good enterteinment. The second was too cheesy for my taste. And the third one was just annoying. I doubt I'll see this one.
Ohhhh.............I can't wait. After Tremors 4 the next step is WORLD DOMINATION!!!!!!!

I'll check it out
The Original was a great camp sci-fi/horror flick
the sequels while not as good as the original which isn't all that uncommon, were still quite entertaining and the tv series while it won't win any awards I dig it.

I agree that the sequels weren't as good as the original, but they were still damn fun movies. I love the series as a whole, and as long as they do it in the same style as the rest of them, TREMORS 4 should have no trouble being a helluva time. I'm there at the store opening day, as well.

This should be fun, I loved the original and thought its sequels weren't too bad. Burt is like the Ash of the Tremors series, its cool.
I'm glad they aint gonna use "time-travel" in this one like I read ages ago (can't even remember where I read it). Making it a prequel was a better idea, I'm not sure if the time-travel idea was a rumour or not but it would of made the series cheesy as hell. I'm glad it wasn't used.
Still, will probably check it out since I've seen the other three films.
They should just make a big helluva box set when the fourth movie comes out. And if they don't, I'll still buy the movie.

Same here. I loved, loved, LOVED the first part. When I watched it the first time I was SOOOO impressed. I still love it! But the other two were just terrible. The second one was bad, but I somehow survived through it, but couldn't watch more than 15 minutes of the third.
How can anyone not like........The Ass Blasters?!

The only reason I'm going to see Tremors 4 is because they went back to basics and tried to use as little CGI as humanly possible.
