Awesome. I saw this movie a few times and seen chunks of it many times at my work. The first time I viewed it I thought it was a tad slow and in the end kinda pointless. I gave it 7/10. On my second viewing I fell in love with the soundtrack. Sometimes that happens to me (Vanilla Sky). So I bumped the grade up to 9/10. After a while I started to understand the film and accept is purpose. I will be pre-ordering this.

A wonderful film, with a beautiful ending. I'll pick it up for my sister (one of those gifts where it is also "for you too") ;)

I can't wait to add this to my collection. I hope the cover art is great, and I also hope that the special features are good. Lord knows its box office was good enough for a nice set. I would LOVE a commentary from Bill Murray, Scarlett, and of course, Sofia. An amazing film better get an amazing dvd.

One of the season's first indie successes and already generating strong Oscar buzz for star Bill Murray, Universal Studios Home Video has announced a February 3rd street date for Sofia Coppola's Lost in Translation. The highly-acclaimed romantic drama will be presented in 1.85:1 anamorphic widescreen with Dolby Digital and DTS 5.1 surround tracks and French and Spanish subtitles. Universal has not announced any extras, and retail is set at $26.95.

An incredibly boring movie. Why buy something that I suffered to get through the first time. Literally nothing happens of interest in this film despite a good performance by Murray.

What a great month Feb. will be.
I cannot wait to have this baby in my hands; a bold and brilliant movie.

Great film just watched it again last night.
Can't wait for the DVD!
Here's hoping that Murray finally gets a Best Actor Oscar nomination!
As well I hope Scarlett Johansson gets a Best Supporting Actress nod.

I will totally be picking this one up the second it hits. The second best film of 2003 (with a strong 9/10) thus far (#1 is Kill Bill with a perfect 10/10), I have caught this one twice in theatres and loved it even more the second time around. Just a wonderful, beautiful and thoughtful film that made me glad to be alive. Sofia Coppola has topped her wonderful debut film, The Virgin Suicides (8/10).

It was a stupid idea to put her in as "SUPPORTING", but she'd have a better chance at a nom at that point.

Oh by the way, this movie does have the greatest opening shot of all time. No one can argue with that.
