Forgive me. I've been trying to find out who performed one of the tracks on the 1991 Linklater "classic" :Slacker .
You might know??
Its the one where the guys have just raided a scrapyard for some parts for their GTO. As they are leaving they give a ride to this guy who's just seen off his step father. "i'm glad the b--tards' dead"
I can describe it as a lo-fi, grungy cyclical drone that sounds like native american indian mantra ???!!!
If you know the name of the track and the artist I would be totally grateful --- if not, sorry for wasting your time
