All i have is the date (Thanks to DAVISdvd.com)
Ill post the Specs when i get them. the cover art says nothing about a Special Edition (and given the box office take of this flick, id doubt it get a very good edition)

I will DEFINETELY be checking this one out. I really wanted to see it but missed it in theaters. It might be awful, but I'm excited about this one.

Here's the decent cover art.

I'll pass on this one. It looks like a lazyman's 'The Shining'.

They should have used the original poster for the cover. It wasn't as cliched as the DVD art, which again puts a montage of the stars on it. There are way too many movies that do that.

FUNNN....i can experience the worst movie of the year all over again...yeah!
:p seriously this movie was unbelievably horrificly bad from its blatant ripoff of other recent movies (coughcough The Ring), to the fact that it has not one scary part in the movie (and i really mean that) to the fact that it is so utterly predictable there is no point to the movie.
In fact, rather than see this movie again, I'd rather slam my head into a toaster oven repeatedly for the rest of eternity.
Well :p, I wouldn't go that far, but pretty darn close.
And if there was an SE, no one would buy it. I'm not surprised they're not making one. If I was Dennis Quaid, I'd be embarassed and never speak of this movie again. The only redeeming thing about the movie is Dorff's intriguing characterization. That's it.
As for the cover art, they should've used the original poster as it actually made the movie look worthwhile----on second thought, maybe they should stick with this one. It'll save some more people from feeling like checking this crapass movie out.
And man, Larry King doesn't know jack.

I thought that this was a below average attempt at a domestic thriller but I still have this strange urge to buy the DVD. I don't know why.

Looks like the coverart got the Signs treatment. Wonderful poster art is plagued with mugshots of the stars...The cover doesn't look horrible, but it makes me roll my eyes.
I'll rent this movie, but probably wont buy it unless I like it. Hearing that it wasn't a haunted house movie really brung my hopes down for it. The features look good though, which is a plus.
