Well today I went as early as I could to get the Pulp Fiction SE. I have been waiting for this for years, and I am sorry to say that I wasn't impressed with the special features. I should probably say that I only watched the "Facts documentary" and a few behind the scenes stuff. The documentary actually made me mad. I don't need the entire cast of the movie telling me Quentin Tarintino is a God. I mean the entire documentary is HIM HIM HIM HIM! It got really annoying. I guess I should watch the rest but so far....I don't like it.

That's too bad. I love them.

Check out the fact/track while watching the movie.

It's a great DVD. And Tarantino is god, realize this.

I have had the opurtunity to go over the rest of the dvd and I will take back what I said. The Dvd is very good the trivia track is great! And the rest of the extras are ok. But I still think the documentary sucks. But the interview with Charlie Rose was awesome.

I just picked it up, last one on the shelf. I must say that I am impressed. The special features are everything you could ask for and much much more. However I would have enjoyed a commentary track with tarantino or a few of the actors. Ahh well. And besides that it's a very pretty DvD. The case is simply superb, mega glossy and important looking. Inside there's a menu for "Jack Rabbit slims" the place Mia and Vincent eat at. Not to mention countless graphics, an info booklet, and some super cool discs. If you like the movie, or if you just like good cinema, BUY IT! 19.95 at Wal-Mart.

Awesome movie, awesome DVD. $19.95 at Walmart? Shit, I got that beat: $15.99 at Best Buy. I can't believe it's that cheap!

Amazing DVD! I loved it all, the documentary could have been better, but all the other stuff makes up for it! The interview with Charlie Rose is awsome, i loved it. The Siskel & Ebert show was also slick, but i have to say the slickest thing about it was the menus! The animated menus and transitions are freaking cool!

I would give the dvd on a whole a 10/10 Friggin amazing!

Right, so check this out. I stroll into WalMart tonight to do some grocery shopping, and what do I see as soon as I walk in the store? A display stand featuring 2, count em 2, DVDs that I totally forgot came out this week: Pulp Fiction and Jackie Brown. So I go over and check them out, see whats so special about them, and then I notice the price: $18.84 each. Well right then I decided to pick them both up, since Pulp is my favorite movie and Jackie was the only Tarantion directed movie I didnt own, and I notice one of the best things on the Jackie Brown DVD: A coupon for $5 off the purchase for when you buy both DVDs at the same time. So basically each DVD cost me $16.34 each. Great, great deal if you ask me.

The DVD's awesome, but how do you operate the Open-Mic Commentary ? Overall 10/10

Tarantino has said that he feels like he has spoken about these films (Pulp and Jackie) enough, and seen them at COUNTLESS film festivals, that he didn't want to record a track for them. I think there is enough information on the discs to warrant that.

IMO, the Fact Track is way better than commentary anyway, you get more information without the frickin' silences and laugh sessions.

I like it better...the Reservoir Dogs SE commentary track sounds real bad, so I like the Fact Track on the Pulp DVD (and Jackie) better.

Fact Tracks are way better then commentaries. You get to watch and HEAR the movie while reading cool facts. With commentaries you watch the silent film while cast members say "Wow, you were good there." "Oh, I love this part" or directors saying "This was a tough shot, me and Sam laughed for hours cause it was so difficult and we kept messing up, hehehee"

UGH!

I got it yesterday and love it! I didnt go throught all the features yet but went throught most of them and they are good. I love the case and i didnt find any easter eggs yet BUT
i didnt get a Jack Rabbit Slims menu inside! All i got was a booklet with like two reviews of the movie inside and some pictures and the cast etc. But no menu. How come?

The one i got is also has pulp fiction written in french like it has the title Pulp Fiction but in smaller letters it has (Fiction Pulpeuse)
u think its coz of this?
