This is sort of a wierd question. Recently I ordered a big enough shipment of Dvds from deep discount. One of those was the omen boxset.

When I get the dvds I play them all just to see the menus and such, I'm strange that way. All the omen DVD worked fine.

I have been using a laptop to watch the DVDs, it is five months old, and never had a problem with it. Anyway, I go to watch the movie of OMen 2 (never watched the movie yet) and the thing is skipping unbelievably bad. I mean it could not even get past the advertisements on the disk; one picture would be there froze while the rest of the iflm was playing.

The dvd has no smudges, scratches, dirt, anything, perfect condition.

I tried it on the big computer later that day and on there it worked.

Problem is: The DVD worked before on the laptop. All other DVDs still work on the laptop. So what is going on?

Should I be concerned about the disc itself?

I have problems like that all the time now, I think my player's getting too old. A few films just skip or pause, but when I play them on my brother or dad's player they are fine. DVD is shitty. But a laptop that plays DVD must be new, so I have no idea, it obviously isn't the disc or the player, it's both just being incompatible.

Anyway, you need to swear and use capital letters more, this is supposed to be a rant :)

You're probably right about the above....but the first time IT WORKED :( And then a few days later it wouldn't work on the damn thing. But the other DVDs still do. MAKES NO SENSE!!!
