How about a Movie Poster Forum?

just an idea i had... personally i love seeing all the new Poster art... i was just thinking a forum that is solely for posting and discussing various Movie Posters. Like a good thread would be comparing a Films Theatrical Poster to their DVD Covers, because alot of times the DVD covers are 50 times worse.

I like this idea. It has a few large threads on it too, on the DVD Discussion and General. It could work if you ask me.

It 's a great idea...I know I like to look at movie posters, so I think a forum would be a successful addition to our growing movie-site.

I think movie trailers could be added to it as well to make a nice additional forum.

i also think it would be great because dont Pictures take up the majority of the bandwith on this site? So a forum where the majority of the pictures posted would be a good thing to limit and moderate the sites bandwith. (I think... im not big into computer lingo and stuff of that nature... but i think what i just wrote made sense!)

Well, it's an idea. A good one, for sure, but I'm not so enthusiastic about it as you people are. First of all, I think the switch to adding the MOVIE FRANCHISES forums is change enough for the time being to keep us busy, and on the other hand, I think talking posters and trailers is a great part of the UPCOMING MOVIES forum. Having said that, I can understand how people would enjoy talking about past posters and trailers, but a) I don't know if enough of us are up to that, b) if it's just to spawn a few "Best Sci-Fi Trailer", "Best Drew Struzan" and such topics, we might as well just leave things as they are.

Just my two cents...of course, if a lot of Schmoes do ask such a forum, I'm all for it...and I'll be checking it out very often if it gets done. :)

I agree with Logan. While it's a great idea, I don't know if enough original threads could be created within the forum to make it work. I mean, you could always have, y'know "THE NEW COOLER POSTER", but that's something that one would put in the Upcoming Movies forum.

Nah. The topic simply doesn't require a forum of its own. Besides, we're still trying out several new forums at this time and don't need any other ones right now.

I agree with Jo, Logan...all of you dudes. Sounds like a neat idea in theory but if put in practice would there be very much to talk about?
