- Scarecrow - Great carachter, always liked him more than the Pinguin among the clasics

- Ras al Ghul - cool carachter, because of his background, and his daughter, all his stories are great

- Clay - never liked him

- Mad Hat - hate him

- Croc - cool but not as a leading villain

Why not and why not?

I think they both would make great villians. I'll be able to give you reasons for why they would make good villians if you tell me why they wouldn't.

I would love to see Clayface as a villian. Also, the Scarecrow.

The next "Batman" movie is going to be a prequel, "Batman: Year One" it's based on, so if they ever do pull of a regular sequel (that would follow the misadventure of B&R) again, Clayface could make a great single villian. But, if they had to pair him, he might make great partners with the Scarecrow as well. They just better not pull him off with lame CGI.

Its not realyl a prequel (well yeah i guess) and I dont think its called Batman year one anymore.

Technically, the batman series doesnt have to follow in chronological order at all. They just fucked it up with BForever and B&R. Batman can take place at any time and still make sense, thats how bats is SUPPOSED to work anyway.

But yeah I still vote for Ras Al Ghul, he is defenitely one of the most interesting villians ever. I mean he actually had a swordfight with bats and friggin stabbed him! Thats just cool!

Scarecrow should be in the next sequel for sure.

I liked the Mad Hatter and Scarecrow. They haven't done the ganster dummy yet.
And I still maintain that Louie the Lylac should pop up somewhere in there.
How about Mr. Egghead.

i think the scarecrow should be the next in line as the main villain.

I always thought that Clayface was a really cool villian, but I also like the Scarecrow. Another interesting one was a scientist guy who was turning people into part animals. Don't remember his name.

I never liked the concept of Batman battling multiple villains.

Who was the villain who could change his body into different elements?

Stone, metal, gas, liquid, whatever.

Ringing any bells for anyone?

Wasnt that from Justice League?? I think that show made him up.

I think Clayface would be a great villan if they did him part CGI and part actor, for example when Clayface goes incognito shaped like a man he could be the actor with some CGI when he goes into his normal form.

Scarecrow would be a great villan too if they did it right.

I think you are refering to Metamorpho. As far as I know he has almost always been portrayed as a hero in the comics. He was temaed up with Batman in the old "Outsiders" comic, than ended up joining the Justice League later on.

As for the villains, I have said it before, but I think Jeremy Irons would make a perfect Scarecrow. Clayface is cool too, but I'd team Scarecrow up with Killer Croc. A young Lawrence Tierney woudl make an awesome Croc IMO

The villian that should be in the next Batman movie is definiately Mr. Freeze.

Oh, you're gonna count that piece of shit, huh?

Fine, then I'll go with Scarecrow.

The Scarecrow. I was surprised that Tim Burton picked The Penguin over him, I always tought that The Scarecrow was "very Tim Burton".

And, why not? bring back the Joker.:)

Burtons only true mistake from the first film was killing the Joker IMO.

The Joker has been killed many times in the comics and he always come back (like an horror bad guy). But I don't think Jack Nicholson can do the part again.

BANE!
I know what ur thinking, "he was in B&R"
I still think Bane is the coolest bat villian, and that crap of a movie doesn't count, it's like the first Punisher movie.

Harley Quinn needs to be in the damn movies already. But I have no idea how you could have her in them without the Joker. So that blows. Screw Burton for killing him off!!

Jeremy Irons is a great actor and I think you're right he could pull off Scarecrow very well. However, I think that Steve Buscemi would actually be a better fit for the role.

Yeah, that always pissed me off that he 86ed Mistah J. They should bring him back regardless. They have different batman's afterall. And damn straight they need Harley Quinn! And I tell you, she is me all over. I could play her to a T.

Hahahaha! When I was younger I would force myself to drink grape soda and took gymnastics classes. I HATED grape soda, so it never worked out. Plus I just can't do that darn accent of hers. :p

I LOVE grape soda. How can ya not?
As for the accent, I'm fairly good at monkey hear, monkey do. If I listen to someone long enough, I can imitate their accent, provided it's fairly distinguishable. My specialty however is British accents.:D
Funny thing, I'm actually in a psychology class now. I don't know how she did it, but I feel closer to her now:p

I'm afraid the villains thaty would require extravagent make-up or CGI would turn Batman into another "Batman and Robin" disaster.

The Human Bat or Clayface...someone who'd pose a threat to batman's strenght, ya know someone stronger than him.

I'm sure Nolan and crew will make some sequels. So, I can't wait to see Two-Face, The Riddler, and The Joker done right.

Here's some casting..

The Joker ............................ Crispin Glover
Two-Face/Harvey Dent ....... Guy Pearce
The Riddler ......................... Steve Buscemi

KILLER CROC WOULD BE PRETTY COOL IF THEY DID CGI TO HIM, ONLY IF THEY USED THE KILLER CROC IMAGE FROM JIM LEE'S DRAWING FROM BATMAN: HUSH COMICS.http://www.dccomics.com/features/BatmanHush/images/desktop1_640.jpg

scarecrow and clayface are two of the best and should be in a Batman film, although not together, also these would only work if it was a nice dark film like Burtons films

I would love to have Clayface in a regular sequel after the eventual success of "Batman Begins." It would take place after "Batman & Robin," but by then, Robin would have hopefully retired as Robin and Nightwing. But, then again, what if we did have Nightwing? I wouldn't mind.

Here's a question for Batman Buffs. I assume that The Scarecrow's character started off in Batman's early years since, this B-movie is based on one of the novels depicting Bruce's early years as Batman. What about Clayface? Where did his character start off? If the next Batman film used him, would it be in a another prequel to the first four films or a regular sequel?

I used to imagine a VERY dark Batman film w/ Mad Hatter as the main villain & Clayface & Killer Croc as lesser villains. The latter 2 wouldn't require way too much development or screentime as in the other bat-films. I imagined a scene where Clayface was hanging out w/ Mad Hatter & making himself look like other characters from the MH's tea party in Alice.

Listen, for all the folks mad about the Joker being killed off (which was NOT Burton's call...blame the writers), you obviously don't realize (or don't care) that Batman Begins will be starting the series over (Batman & Robin fucked that up for us).

So, technically, the Joker may very well return (or debut, depending on how you look at it).

Actually, I think I heard somewhere that a young Joker may make a cameo in this flick.

Let's just say that the script heavily implies Joker may show up in a sequel.

In the comics Bane was the best! Bane was an intelligent villian born and raised in prison who broke all the inmates out of Arkam and then watched Batman hunt them all down and catch them... finally after weeks of dealing with all the criminals of Gotham Bane discovered who Batman was and having been weakened from fighting all the villians who escaped from Arkam Bane showed up at Wayne Mannor and broke Batmans back setting the stage for a new Batman and finally a Batman vs Batman showdown after Wayne healed up and the new Batman refused to give up the Batman job.

Now that would be a great movie...

ex: In the comics after breaking out the Riddler from Arkam who remember at the end of Batman 3 was sent to Arkam, Bane injects the Riddler with his (Venom aka roid juice) and bulks him up like Bane and watched The Riddler fight Batman.

Other great villians:
Scarecrow who years ago I heard a rumor was going to be played by none other than Howard Stern
Harley Quinn
Mad Hatter

From the above 3 only The Scarecrow could hold a movie on his own but a great idea I read about years ago was since the Scarecrow is the 'God of Fear' he would spray Batman with his fear mist and Batman would then have his greatest fear come back to life in his dreams.. "The Joker" this would make for some great dream sequences that Jack Nicholsen could come back for and perhaps apon learning of Batmans greatest fear this would open the door to bring Harley Quinn in the mix seeing as in the comics and on the cartoon he is the Jokers girl.
