It´s been rumored to be made since it was released in the 80´s but with Batman 5 starting all over again it seems really far away the day this project gets green light.

But we can still speculate casting names:

Great cast Guy Strong!!! Russell would be great and I would have never thought about Boothe of Defoe but they are booth perfect, the only one im not sure about is Ed Harris as Dent.

Christian Bale is way too young. Batman is 50 something years old in the BATMAN: THE DARK KNIGHT RETURNS story, but Bale is perfect for a young Batman.

I don't think it's a good idea to make the president a Reagon look alike. I think he should have the same dialogue but compleatly change the look and voice. How about Michael Rooker?
