Minor Issue

I have a minor issue with a certain schmoe named ********, ***. What he/she has done for hir favorite movie and location have made reading hir posts very annoying. This is not merely a personal issue. I am bringing this up here because, as far as I can tell, this isn't breaking any rules. It's just really annoying. Can anything be done about it? Does it bother anyone else?

I agree with the issue at hand but things like this are best dealt with by hitting the button underneath the post that says "report this post to moderator". That way the feelings of the other Schmoe won't be hurt when they see a thread about them.

I understand what you are saying. But my thread was meant to just ask a general question about the legality of the action. I wasn't sure if it was a reportable offense. I will remove said schmoe's name from my initial post.

This issue has been resolved.

The best thing to do in a situation in which you think a schmoe might be "annoying" or "offensive" or something outside of our rules and guidelines, is to utilize the REPORT THE POST TO THE MODERATOR function (like many schmoes already do) so that we can take a look at it asap.

To bring anyone's specific posts up in a public forum is probably not the best way to go (the person might not know any better, and you will be publically embarassing him/her). Just an FYI for everyone in the future.
