Title: Daredevil
Starring: Ben Affleck
Released: April 2004
SRP: TBC
Further Details
Website newsarama.com reports that Marvel recently held a conference in which analysts outlined their financial projections for the coming year. Most interestingly, the director's cut of Daredevil was mentioned. This new release will apparently be released in April of next year. I'm afraid that's all we know at the moment but we'll bring you more details as soon as we have them. I know that fans have been waiting quite some time for more news on this, so hopefully an announcement will arrive soon.
I am just really hoping a gratuitist (SP??) Titty shot of Jennifer garner is in this cut!

That's the only way in hell I'd ever watch THAT again. But it really doesn't seem worth it.

Daredevil(8.5/10) was a very solid film, but the version I have is more than sufficient for me. I find those director cuts inferior anyway.

It's spelled gratuitous and from what I've heard it's violence and slight gore that was cut.

I'm Hate/Love when they do this stuff. Love the new editions and Directors Cuts. Hate shelling out more money.
I'll get it. I liked the movie. The CGI didn't look any worse that some Spiderman scenes and Blade II scenes.

I haven't seen Daredevil yet. I might as well wait for the R rated version.

I really enjoyed this film (not as good as The Hulk, but a hell of a lot better than Spider-Man) and will be buying the Director's Cut...

GODDAMMIT!
I haven't seen the film, and I don't plan to unless there's a nude scene of Garner hanging that's added. :D

Don't count your blessings, folks. From the reports I've heard about what's been changed between the Theatrical and Director's Cuts...THERE IS NO LOVE SCENE IN THE DIRECTOR'S CUT. But supposedly there's a really good reason for that. Given that an entire subplot involving a murder trial was removed from the movie, it wouldn't surprise if it had something to do with that.
AFFLECK: Sorry, Elektra, I can't make make love tonight...I've got a life to save!
GARNER: But...you can't leave now! All the fanboys wanna see me naked! Damn you, Bennifer, get back here!

I can't wait for this. I already have the two disc special edition. Are they adding anything to make this more worthwhile?

Hopefully more of Garner, but somehow I doubt it. I knew this was coming out. So I held out on the initial release. I plan to pick this up.

The Man Without Fear is on the fast track to a second DVD incarnation. The Motion Picture Association of America (or MPAA to schmos like me) has just handed 20th Century Fox's Daredevil 1.5 an official R rating. Go here to see a list of what was trimmed out to get the film to a PG-13. The new Daredevil DVD should be out in the first quarter of 2004.

I heard that the director's cut is better, and despite my hatred for the movie, I'll give the DC a shot. Certainly couldn't be worse than the shit they gave out

Cool. The PG-13 version of Daredevil was pretty cool so i think i'll rent this R-rated Director's Cut when it's released.
Was planning to get it, but change me mind now. Waiting for this one.

Dvdanswers just gave info about this Directors Cut-DVD beeing pushed back till next year. They said no reason was giving on why. My opinon on why it was moved back is that I think they may realse it when Daredevil 2 or Elecktra comes out.

Well Bullseye dies at the end so he couldn't talk to the police. I think that Joe Pantilianto tells the police.
