Hey, super sports schmoe RicochetShaw thought it'd be cool to have a mid-season Superbowl Winner Prediction Poll.
A very good idea indeed...
I say, Go Pats!!!

Well, a little past mid-season then...

They're not getting as much attention as, say, Kansas City right now, but they're moving ahead slowly, steadily, and dangerously...the New England Pats!
Yes, we'll have a good laugh over this one if it doesn't happen, but like Sev, I'm picking the Pats as the Super Bowl champs right this very minute.

Other: Bills. ;) Nah, I honestly think the Colts.

I also really like the Pats right now.

Along with being a huge Chiefs fans, I think they have the easiest schedule coming up, although anything can happen in the NFL. If their defense can shape up, they will make a good run in the playoffs. I hope they win. I think they'll win. Which means they probably won't win, but I pick them anyway.

Kansas City. It's very close between them the Patriots, Titans and Colts. NFC there's not one team I think that can match these guys. Well maybe Carolina or Phily

These other teams you listed are pretty good, but they are missing one key ingrediant.....

Go Titans!

I noticed that no one has yet selected an NFC team and it won't start here.
MCNAIR & THE TITANS!!!!!!!!
All roads leading to the SuperBowl lead through Arrowhead right now. I'm a lifelong Chiefs fan (34 plus years now) and I've been waiting for this since the 1969 Chiefs managed to take us all the way in 1970, a game I don't even remember. With a 9-1 record, a powerful offense and a steadily improving defense, the Chiefs can do it all.

Woohoo! Thanks Sev.
The Vikings were my choice to win it all until they stumbled into the slump they're in right now. KC's a good pick, but I think their numbers are a bit deceiving. They're still a very good team, though. For the AFC it's hard to choose between the Titans and Pats, but I'll go with the Titans. The NFC looks weaker all around, but they're top team is still probably the Vikings, even though they're having problems. Though they may fall apart even more, they're my number 1 NFC choice.
Superbowl Prediction: Titans over Vikings.

Yup, yup. What he said. I think McNair will carry the Titans all the way.

Is there any doubt (in my mind)? The Chiefs! This has been a great year for us Chiefs fans, and I think that this'll be our year.

See that one vote for the Eagles? That vote was from ME, ME, MEEEEEEEEE!
Watch them shock the world and send Rush Limbaugh back into rehab as they beat Kansas City in Super Bowl XXXVIII! The team is finally coming together after a pathetic start, and after 5 wins in a row, they're finally getting some respect from the media and other teams. Yeah, they'll prboably choke in the NFC Championship game again like they do every year but hey I can dream can't I?

I believe that Peyton Manning will lead the Colts to this year's Superbowl, and emerge as champs.
Anyone remember The Raiders 4 game losing slump last year? I feel the same is going on with the Vikings. I see them turning themselves around by the end of the season, only to get drowned by the Colts in the "big one".

I went for Other; Green Bay. Stop laughing. :) It's a long-shot, but I took them at fucking excellent odds to win the lot, before their win over SanFran. How good was Green against the 4th ranked run defence?!
They're 6-5 with a W2 streak after an ordinary first-half to the season. They've now got Detroit, Chicago, San Diego, and Oakland, before hosting Denver in the closer. Could go 11-5 and take the NFC North over Minnesota, especially if the Vikings drop games against St. Louis and KC, and maybe the surprising Seattle. They'll hit the playoffs on a roll, and they have the QB to take them all the way...injured thumb or not.

That would be great, if actually did happen. Nothing would please me more than to see the Packers get themselves into the playoffs....

No coach has his team prepared for a game than Bill and Brady is flying under the radar screen as the best decsion making QG in the game today. Lets not forget, they did win it all not that long ago. Coach Bill is building himself something special.

For those of you who believe in the Eagles, more power to you. The Eagles have looked very impressive.
I look for the Eagles and the Chiefs to play in the big dance.

It's all about the New England Patriots, they are on a wrecking course to the super bowl, not going to lose for the rest of the season. Hopefully I just didn't jinx them.

Nor do I.....for now. I said 11-5 but I'll take 10-6 with the Viks tripping up.
Seattle can't win on the road twice, especially at Lambeau Field. The fixed odds I took have since been quartered. Bring it, Brett!
