let me start by saying that I love the LOTR movies. I have never read the books, but I have read the Silmarillion and read enough on the internet, etc. for me to get a fairly decent grasp on everything that goes on. I have also watched all the documentary footage provided in the Fellowship as well as the Two Towers...and therein lies my specific problem. Its not a problem with the movies, mind you, but ONE PARTICULAR PERSON. I'm sure this guy is very capable of doing just whatever the hell he does, but everytime I see his face I just wanna punch it. He just annoys me to no end. I figured this Rant section would be a good place to put this, since my beliefs are totally ungrounded and overwhelmingly subjective, but I still wanna beat the crap outta this guy. Tell me if any of you feel the same about this turd.

p.s. I must have something better to do than to make fun of this person, but I just can't seem to figure out what that is right now.

LMAO!

That's the Executive Producer of the LOTR trilogy!

Why oh why would you want to wish harm on such a hard-working fellow?

Mark Ordesky, Executive Producer is his name. And as far as punching hardworking fellows, methinks that Hitler and Stalin worked pretty hard in their day, yet warranted many sharp, hard blows to the head. But thats beyond the point. I was merely stating that this person's look, voice and appearance warranted a blow to the head, nothing more. Like I said earlier, my findings are baseless and are merely a personal feeling of mine, which is why they are in the Rant section here. Thats it.

Ok one more thing and then I shall be off for the evening (I think :-/) Here's a picture I entitled, "A fitting end to Mr. Ordesky."

Well I guess I did not pay attention to that guy much to get annoyed but for me the one who annoys me is Sean Astin man is he an ass he irritates the hell out of me and his short film was crappy also. He strikes me as a dude who knows it all and I do not think he relaxes much. I got the feeling he annoyed the shit out of his costars as well.

Speaking of other people on the LOTR cast who annoy me and probably annoyed the cast as well, I present Andy Sirkhis (sp?), the guy who did Gollum's voice and played gollum's live action counterpart. Watching the DVD gave me the notion that this guy, who was only originally slated to do Gollum's voice, was trying to make a big star-type impression by going all out and trying to do everything that Gollum would do, including jumping around like a nut in the water and whatnot and being violent (to excess it seemed to me at least) to the other members of the cast. At one point he ripped off Sean Astin's wig in a particularly violent manuever, which was uncalled for, in my p.o.v. I just don't like people who give 110% when its not needed. On the other hand, it seemed that Viggo Mortensen gave 110% when needed at all times and that turned out just well. Morale of the story: Everyone's got their place. Sit! Stay! Good boy!

It's Serkis, by the way. And I don't see why you would fault him for the things he did. He was originally gonna do the voice, but Jackson is the one who instructed him to dress up in the white costume and act out Gollum after seeing audition tapes of him and being blown away, as it says in the documentary. I never got the notion that he was trying to be some big star in it, since he didn't even know he'd be involved throughout the whole production and was under false pretenses.

Also, I don't really understand something else. Did you watch the documentary and pay attention? Because Serkis ripped off Astin's wig by accident, as it clearly shows. He went to him, accidently grabbed his wig, and it came off due to the accidental force. Not trying to provoke arguments, but I don't understand how you got these notions.

And btw, I didn't mind Mark Ordesky. He seemed exactly like a guy who would produce a Lord of the Rings movie, and wasn't in the documentaries enough for me to wanna split my wrists
