Alright, I decided that this tournament needed to be done. This tournament will work like the NCAA tournament where there are 64 teams and tey would be one-on-one matchups throughout. I chose the contestants based on overal success and popularity. The contestants in the tournament will be:

I went mostly with teams that have had historically good records as well as ones that are doing well today. I put the Islanders in over the Stars because they had a string of 4 Stanley Cups in a row in the early 80s, whereas Dallas only had one in 1999.

As for Texas, I could probably replace Alabama with them, but for a long time the Crimson Tide were great under Bear Bryant, oh what the heck I'll put the Longhorns in over them. But I'm not taking Army and Navy out, for a long time, they were the main shows in college football, and there's still always a huge draw for their game every year.

Also, so that this tournament goes quicker, I am making the maximum length of a game one day, or once I decide there are enough votes. Then a winner will be declared.
