Anyone interested in my cricketing triumph....?

Hello poeples, just thought i would post my cricket match today here...

Ok i play under 17's and we played a macth today but we had one player less than the normal amount in a team, and our team hsnt lost a match yet, no thanks to me, i either fdont turn up aor play shit...

ANyways we have 40 over matches, and they batted first, i bowled one really shit over, and three good ones, no woickets for lil old me though... they made 160 runs at the end of their innings...

When we batted i was supposed to open the batting (bat first) and i said no so i had to bat sebventh instead, but all our good batters got out for low amounts of runs.... and we were 5 wickets down for about 60 runs (we only have 9 wickets in our innings until we are all ut for ppeople who have no clue what im on about) and then i come in and bat, and I made my highest score to dat in cricket, 69 runs not out, and i hit 2 sixes.... and won us the match so we are back on the top of the table.

I'll be playing thirds (one step away from turf!) in a few weeks as our summer season heats up. I usually open the bowling (left-arm medium-fast a-la Bruce Reid) and come in 6th or 7th drop. I've come close to a hat-trick twice, and have had some great spells with the ball, but my top score (for the fourths) with the bat is only 39.

I almost got a hat trick as well once when i used to be a good bowler lol... and it was when i tried out for like a competition thingy and they pickedme to be in the team, and this was the best out of all the regions competition and i bowled one guy out, next ball i baowled the other guy out, next ball the other guy blocked it, next ball had him caught in slips....

Post all your best scores here if ya want, just for something to do...

Batting - 69 not out, then 60, then next is 32 and quite a lot of 20's scores.....
Bowling - 4/2 (4 overs), 4/5 (4 overs) , 3/9 (done these exact figures 3 times)

And in another competition i tried out for and got in, in that competition i batted so badly (got like two ducks and a 1 not out) and didnt bowl, but i got the fielding award and the cricketers here will understand this next bit more better than others... a spinner was bowling and the captain put me at half pitch (we arnt allowed to go closer than half the length of the pitch away form the batter for injuries and stuff. ANywyas the spinner bowled it, the batsmen charged down the pitch and smashed the ball off the middle of the bat straight at me (i was standing approx..5 metres away) and i caught it one handed, i was really really happy with that.
