Actor, Elias Koteas (dude on the left) is no household name like Brad Pitt or George Clooney but Elias has done some good movies throughout his career. A lot of unknown movies and some that I have seen like Some Kind of Wonderful & Living Out Loud I may have to re-watch & look for him. But thee movie that I think he was the shits in was Simone w/ Al Pacino. His apperance in the movie was very short but the lines he said stands out as the highlight of the movie overall.

Grrrr shame on imdb for not quoting the lines he says to Pacino on the greatest creation he was trying to pass onto him. Ahhh well. Yaaay for this Canadian Bred Actor. :D

Well of course I dig the guy! I was a huge Ninja Turtles fan after all.

I thought after his great showings in The Thin Red Line and Apt Pupil he would start to get more roles. I guess he's sticking closer to the Indie circuit though.

Oh well. Yay for Casey Jones.

Fucking GREAT actor who doesn't get nearly enough respect. If I ever get to make a movie, I am going to personally cast him first.

YAY

Marvellous and unforgettable in THE THIN RED LINE and always the unexpected scene-stealer, Koteas has genuine acting balls.

He was incredibly creepy in CRASH. Otherwise he often plays hugely likeable characters.

YAY!

Oh my giddy aunt YAY. I absolutely adore this guy. I think he's one of those actors that deliberately chooses the quirkier, engaging supporting roles and eventually ends up owning the film.

He's excellent in everything he does, but my favourite role of his to date is as the creepy brainchild Vaughan in 'Crash.' Ever so slightly deranged, methodical, charming and oozing sexual potency, I think that he was the best man for the role.

Oh, and yes. I'd hit it.

YAY. I first saw him as Casey Jones. What a smart-arse. Great and greatly underused actor. I want to see more of him. MORE I SAY!

I agree. A talented, charismatic actor.

Lots of people are obviously aware of who he is, and like what he does.

So why is he the supporting actor, while folks like Leo DiCaprio, Orlando Bloom and Josh Hartnett headline films?

Disappointing.
