he writes it all himself and perform's all the charictors and does the voices himself,the man is the most original comic to come out of the uk in years,if he does'nt win a bucket full of awards at this years comedy awards then there is no god.

I know 'friends' of Francis...and apparantly he is an EXTREMELY funny man. He takes his Merrion alter-ego all over the shop with him (it's pretty scary on occasion I hear)...and they say he's always been a bit of a fruitcake.

He's a VERY quick-witted, off-the-wall bloke IMO...you only have to watch the Bo Selecta outtakes to see this.

I haven't heard this yet and not being a fan of novelty records I fear the worst. I do, however, think Leigh Francis is hilarious (anyone read the surreal interview with him in the Metro newspaper during the week). His Avid Merrion character is a stroke of genius and the bear cracks me up every time. At best the video will likely make me laugh a bit but being a humorless, "bah humbug" espousing Scottish bloke I can't see myself buying the single.

The writing was great, but I don't get the thing about making him sound like a thug. That's the point...sort of.

His Craig David is a bloke from North Yorkshire whom has a special relationship with a pereguine falcon. He also pisses the bed...well, he used to, before the Dr. fitted him with a state-of-the-art 'piss-bag'.

His David Blaine is a tit-feeling sham artist. He stops women on the street and gropes them, asking them if they can "feeeeel the magic baby"! He also has this priceless arse-clenched swagger.

His Jacko is completely BRILLIANT, but depending on what you actually downloaded I'm sure he'll be pretty tough to 'figure out' at first.
