Is it just me or have musicals really improved. The golden age of MGM and Fox musicals now appears awful. Thid is how I see them.

1. Little Shop Of Horrors
2. Grease
3. Hair
4. The Nightmare Before Christmas
5. West Side Story
6. Wizard Of Oz
7. The Sound Of Music
8. On The Town
9. Rocky Horror
10. The Labyrinth (even though it only has a few songs)

I wouldn't say that the classic age of movie musicals was awful but there have been some really good musicals in the past 25 years.

7. Summer Magic
6. White Christmas

4. Any Dsney Animated Musical
3. Pure Country (Yeeah I know but I liked the music)

Musicals are usually overlooked. I haven't seen too many but the ones that i have seen have been pretty good
