Spider-Man 2 Trailer

Just read the description for the trailer...and it sounds AMAZING!
Heres the description just in case you havent read it.

The teaser begins with a dialogue between Toby Maguire and Kirsten Dunst. They are in a coffee shop and she asks him if he loves her. He says "no", trembling. "Okay, if you don't love me, give me a kiss", she says and leans forward. "I would like to see something". You can notice he's very nervous. Just when they're about to kiss he ducks in slow motion and pushes her to the floor. We see a full size car smashing through the coffee shop window and nearly hitting them. In slow motion one of the car wheels almost peels Toby's face off. Then, right through the broken entrance comes Doc Ock, walking with his tentacles, never touching the ground, like a metal spider...

Now does that sound like a kick ass trailer or what??? I cant wait to see what Doc Oc will look like in action, walking around like a huge spider.

The official trailer will be up I believe on December 15th so be on the look out for that.

To see it and be amazed, and then to see it in your face on the movie screen only days later, now im lookin foward to that. This sounds like a trialer that people who arent aware of a spidey sequal or kno jack about the first will be suprised and wanna see it straight away!

They have definitely improved on the Special Effects from the first one!

Its just like the description spacemonkey posted! With Spidey doing his thing swinging from building to building.

Wow, what an amazing trailer, Alfred Molina looks awsome as Doc Oc and the effects of spidey swinging through the manhattan streets looks absolutely flawless, better than the original by the looks of it. I thought the effects in Spiderman looked a tad cartoonish at times.
Cant wait to see this one, and us lucky Aussies get to see it first, on the first of july......JOY!!!!

Looks amazing so far. I actually watched it and it seems they are putting that immense budget to good use. SFX look dazzling, esp. on Doc Ock. I can't wait for a better quality version.

This trailer was cool, too bad that there wasn't enough action for my tastes, and the whole kiss thing at the beginning dragged a little too much for my liking. But hey, I just wanted to see what Doc Ock was like!

Really cool trailer, very impressive. I thought Ock walking with his metal tenticles and his feet not touching the ground...very cool :cool:

Can't wait for this movie, looks just as good as the original. But with all the excitment of this movie, the amazing CGI put to good use and Doc Freakin' Ock, I keep thinking about Bruce Campbell's cameo (come on people, it had to be said :D).

Looking forward to 2004.

I didn't like the way they did Peter's reaction each time we saw one of Octo's tentacles or the way ho got in the restaurant..

OK, OK... SO THE FUCKING MOVIE LOOKS GOOD!!

There! I said it! All this time I've been trashing superhero movies, but all along, I've been secretly pondering on how technically flawless Spider-man is... EXCEPT for Kirsten Dunst whom I can't stand... but other than that... I like the damn movie. And yes, I will be going to see the second one.

Great trailer , and i agree , the visual fx look so much better than the ones in the first film .


That longshot of DO scaling the side of a building is terrific , as is the scene with him flipping over a car .


But , my fears have been confirmed , Alfred Molina was a piss poor choice to play this guy , just as W Dafoe was in part 1 .. The guy looks to be playing him like an over the top goofball , not menacing , but comical , almost like the two villains in Batman Forever . He's hamming it up something fierce , and that's not a good thing . Why did they cast this guy , he's one of the worst actors out there , there had to be someone else who could have donned the tentacles .


Also , i always felt that the love story angle was the weakest aspect of the original . Hold on to your hats , it's even more pervasive , groan inducing , pretentious , annoying , sappy , and cheesy in this one . Oh god , why , why ? Now , mind you , i'm basing this on the opening sequence of the trailer , i couldn't stand it . Just when i thought it couldn't get any worse , it did . And , wow , what happened to KD , she looks like she aged 6 years already , maybe she's been partying up a storm , but man , her looks are fading quicklike .



Now , everything else looks as if it will be truly excellent and it looks like it will capture that epic feeling that the original didn't quite capture , and if it wasn't for Dunst and Molina , i would say Spidey was going to be one of the best films of the year , but i'm 100 % positive that they will drag the film down a couple of notches .

Finally saw the trailer when I went to see ROTK and was blown away of course!

I loved everything about it! Dock Ock looks great! Spidey looks better! I loved that scene with him putting the mask on.

Dellamorte, the love angle is an important part of the whole Spider Man thing, its allways been present in the comics and it makes perfect sense now on the film.

Its allways been about this normal teenager with extraordinary powers. Normal because as any other teen hes got his main squeeze, Mary Jane.
