I just started getting into Weezer's music. I had heard of them before, but had never really heard anything by them, with the exception of Buddy Holly and Say It Ain't So. I burned their first album, and I think it's great. I really like all the songs on there, especially the first two I mentioned, and Only in Dreams. I agree with what allmusic.com said about it, that it was "music for geeks- guys who love comics, books, tv, metal, and girls, but are too scared to talk to them". They never take themselves too seriously, and that's why I like them.

What does everyone else think about Weezer, and which album should I get next?

Get Pinkerton, it's good stuff. The subsequent Green Album and Maladroit have some alright songs on them, but as a whole the two albums are nothing compared to the first two, despite how cliche it is to say the older stuff is better, with weezer it's true.

The Blue Album is simply amazing. There's not a bad song on it. My favorites are Say It Ain't So and Holiday. And as mentioned before, their older stuff, is their best.

Yup Pinkerton is their swan song. Everything after that is pretty mediocre.

Ive been listening to Weezer since they first came out and love their Blue Album. Its a classic. Songs like "In Garage" and "Surf Wax America" remind me why I love these guys.

Pinkerton grew on me. At first I didnt like it much because it was a bit different from what we had heard on the first, they were a little bit harder and raunchier. But as it turns out now I consider it one of their best albums. Its dark, its personal. In fact its so personal that I think the band doesnt play certain songs in concerts. From this album I love "Why Bother" wich is about not bothering to fall in love since its gonna hurt so much in the end, "The Good Life" a song about trying to get your shit together and "Pink Triangle" wich I think is about a guy who falls for a lesbian chick.

The Green Album, Im gonna have to step in defense of this one because I think its really good. Its like they went back to what they first did in their first album. They were obviously getting back to basics with this one, hey, its no coincidence that the cover is so similar to the first album. They are like saying "hey were back and were the same guys you loved the first time around!" I love "Photograph" "Hashpipe" (love that bass line!) and "Island in the Sun" theres no question that with this album they are in a far chipper mood then when they wrote Pinkerton. This albums a bit happier and positive.

In my opinion they are still a good band and I still love what they are doing.
