When Joel Schumacher took the reigns of Batman from Tim Burton, Will Smith auditioned for the role of Robin. I was just wondering what would be everybody's thoughts if he had won the role.

It woulda been terrible. Not as bad as Chris O'Donnell...but terrible.

I love Will Smith, he's a really driven guy, and I think he can make most things work. But not this.

I dont think that would have happened because first of all robin is white and second of all will smith is a comedian. Not that I am a rascist or anything.

He does a good mix of drama and comedy. He's one of those actors who can do both equally well. However, he's not right for the part of Robin.

Yes - there's a reason Im still deeply suspicious of Joel fucking Schumacher regardless of how much film-making legitimacy he seems to be getting these days...
