They think that because of poor ticket sales and general reaction to such 2003 superhero movies as Daredevil, LXG and Hulk, Spider-Man 2 won't have as many people interested. My opinion?
Can you smell that? Pwoargh! What is that? Is it cows? Sheep? Oh, I got it. It's bullshit. :D

Just cause some of us are die hard superhero fans for life, doesn't mean everyone is.
There may be a kernal of truth to what they're saying.
We shall see.

I can see the point they are arguing. Once a trend has been established in the consumer's mind, it can take quite a while for it to wear off. If a viewer saw two or three so-called "superhero" films in 2003, and was disappointed with all of them, the chances of them checking out another is lessened.
However, the first film did quite well, and it seems that, regardless of market trends, a Spidey sequel would be more than successfull.
But like I said before, I can see where Forbes mag. is coming from... and I do think they know what they are talking about when it comes to business.
