Five Cds containing 79 tracks from the Rick Rubin years, 65 of which have never been released. Holy shite!!! This box set just leapfrogged from nowhere to the very top of my Christmas list. I need this so bad. I didn't even know it was coming out. Goddamn...life's just full of surprises.

There's a cover version of Bob Marley's Redemption Song whering Cash duets with Joe Strummer. This really looks amazing. The review in todays NME gave it a solid 10/10. I've attached a scan of said review.

I don't think the scan came out... Psychocandy. Looking through the inclusion of songs I'm really taken aback as to how much golden stuff is floating around in that box.

I finally got a hold of this. I'm utterly and absolutely awestruck at the wealth of great songs contained on the these five discs. His version of Neil Young's Pocahontas is beautiful. The duet with Joe Strummer on Redemption Song is a wonderful, wonderful thing. There's too many stand out tracks to mention. I'll update this after I let it sink in a bit more. Hell...I haven't even listened to the whole thing yet.
