If Christian Bale doesn't WIN or AT LEAST get nominated for BEST ACTOR for AMERICAN PSYCHO...there is no justice in Hollywood!

And those are my 2 cents of the day... /ubb/smile.gif

Your completely and totally right Joblo Christian Bale was great in American Psycho and I'll tie him with Michael Douglas for best actor and also give the film's director Mary Harron best director.

TillUWiseUp can I take it your pick for the best film of last year was (my pick as well) Magnolia.

p.s.you're named after a great song I own the Magnolia soundtrack and listen to Aimee Mann's Wise Up quite often

I think it has been a very weak year so far for film. Given I haven't seen nearly as many flicks as last year, plus I'm told that I am getting much more cynical with my movie tastes. /ubb/smile.gif Maybe I was just spoiled by a great film year in 99. I wouldn't even hazard award choices after the sub-par crop of flicks (American Psycho excluded) that have been around this year. Though, from the trailers it looks like Julia Robert's breasts should get a nomination for best supporting actress.

Jesus Harold Christ on a rubber crutch does Quentin love Wonder Boys or do you get some sort of kick back?

Most of all the nominees are from movies that come out in the last quarter of the year. And this year will be no change. There are also a few things to be certain of. First, many boring, you will never see British films will get nominated (thank you old farts on the academy) . Second, Gwen will get nominated for yet another bad acting job (Yes, I hate her and thinks she sinks). Third, you people forgot about Chicken Run (one of the best films ever,,, just kidding, but it will get some techinal award bet on it)

Julia Roberts should get at least a nomination for Erin big breasteseses (say it like they did on In Living Color)

To be the best movie I have seen so far would have to be ALMOST FAMOUS, but I have high hopes for Unbreakable, Castaway and O' Brother. But to you Quentin it looks like that crappy, unfunny movie Wonder Boys will be re issued

1.These are not my predictions, this is my list for the best so far.

2.I have not seen Chciken Run or any kids movie since Antz.

3.What the hell is wrong with Wonder Boys??? It is the second best of the year so far, and Michael Douglas gives the best performance of his career. What was it you didn't like about it, and please don't say it was "boring".

I agree whole-heartedly about Jack Black getting the nod for High Fidelity. He was great. But I also like Chris Rock in Nurse Betty, DeVito in Big Kahuna, and Tom Green in Road Trip(just kiddin...as if you couldn't tell).

What? First of all, I'm NOT talking Oscar nominations- I don't really give a fuck about the Oscars..... well, Ok. I REALLY do- but that's besides the point.

Why? Did you see BAMBOOZLED? I think it looks good.

Bamboozled has gotten pretty piss poor reviews....I'll pass on that one, though I do love Spike!
