Same rules apply here as to the TOP 5 of the year. What were your 5 least favorite movies to sit through this year so far?

1) Hanging Up
2) Highlander: Endgame
3) Black and White
4) Mission to Mars
5) Bless the Child

I haven't seen any bad movies in theatre this year. Holy Smoke was the worst, but even that was worth 6/10.

I was pretty dissapointed with Holy Smoke, though Kate and harvey were quite good, the movie it self was kinda blah

my score---5/10, but by far not the worst film of the year.

screamer, I am a Scream fan, which is probably why I was so disappointed by 3. 1 and 2 were good, with of course the first being the best. I think that it reinvented the horror genre and without it, some of my favorite horrors of the past few years would not have been made(Final Destination, House on Haunted Hill, Scary Movie, etc.). But #3, aside from Carrie Fisher's part, Randy's return, and Jay and Silent Bob, sucked. I pretty much knew that if they were to make another sequel after Randy died, that it would be horrible. I mean, who can not agree with me that Randy(some might say Stu or Dewey, though) was the coolest character of the movies. He represented the average horror fan who thinks, "Oh come on, the killer's right around the corner. Don't go to investigate." Randy knew what was going on in the movies and was the one who the audience could connect with. Though I like the fact that he was in #3, it wasn't for long enough. What they should have done with #3 was to try to make it more like the original. It had too many dark tones and not enough light ones for it to stand out among all the rest of the crappy teen horror flicks around. All the celebrity cameos in the world couldn't have helped this movie. My suggestion would have been: Let Kevin Smith write it, make Jay and Silent Bob prominent characters, and kill Sydney once and for all.

all of the movies that i have seen this year havent really been that bad except for the beach. The beach was so boring. and Retard im sure you can think of a worser movie than scream 3.

Naw, it's mosly because the movies I go to are never REALLY crappy. And on video, I don't see too many new releases because I am trying to watch all the greats from way back when. Just saw One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest for the first time yesterday.
And what is everyone's problem with Mission to Mars? I thought that it was a good movie with a mediocre ending that shouldn't be on people's bottom 5 lists.

I knew I would get ripped with putting Scary Movie up there. Tell me what was so great about it? Shawn Wayan's is by far one of the worst actors ever and the gay inuendo is disgusting! Marlon is great but he plays a freakin retard in this! There is so much gross out humor that it got old real fast! The best part of the movie was the first five minutes when Carmen runs through the sprinklers - that's it!

Hell I haven't seen half the number of flicks I usually do this year. Only two come straight to mind:

Supernova and Titan A.E. Nutty Professor 2 and Hollow Man would fill the next slots. They weren't really bad all the way through but were awful in parts. It's just been a blah year. Very few standouts in either direction. I also saved a couple of movies from making my worst list by boycotting Jim Carrey and Ashley Judd films. /ubb/wink.gif

2.Hanging Up
3.Bless the child
4.Rocky and etc.
5.Highlander ...

I know all this and i only saw no.1 and 3,both enormous wastes of my o so precious time.

And somebody please speak to Cow and tell him MI:2 is great, if not great,it still doesnt deserve this list.

I didn't say it was great Crynot, it had it's moments, that's all I am saying. I thought the gay innuendo was funny at first, but did get tiresome after a while, as did a lot of the charcters. I actually saw it twice, some of my other buds forced me to see it the 2nd time, and I must say I didn't like it as much as the first (though I didn't love it the 1st time). After the 2nd time I saw it my score dropped from a 7/10-------to a 6/10.

I'm sorry I have to agree that Scary Movie wasn't that good....I thought the gay stuff was funny, but the humour was a bit lame, and sort of relied on the fact that it grossed you out.
But I would have to say that Hollow Man absolutely sucked big time, especially with the typical Hollywood ending where the guy and girl are the only ones to survive and they have a big smooch....BORING....
And Kevin Bacon just would not die! He got electrocuted in a room full of water (funny it didn't get the girl who was soaked standing right next to him), burnt, smacked over the head rather hard with a lead pipe and a whole range or other things. The only good thing was the effects of him being invisible, that was pretty cool.
The other lame movie i saw was The Wog Boy, which was an Australian movie....i had to turn it off half way through, i couldn't stand it any longer!
