Looks rather bland to me. Then again, straight comedies aren't my cup o' tea. I'll skip it. Matt Damon deserves better.

Well the Farelly Borthers has not outdid themselves w/ "There's Something About Mary" but they still keep trying. It's great to see Matt Damon trying something different for a change.
I am kinda interested in Cher. YES Cher :D
I dunno if I would see myself going but i'd wouldn't mind seeing it.

I remember seeing the trailers to this and Dumb & Dumberer in front of X2 on opening night. Both looked AWFUL! They almost looked alike. This looked slightly less bad, but still incredibly stupid and unfunny. I still don't think it looks that great, but I do like the TV spot with Cher and Frankie Muniz in bed, that was funny. I'll see it on video, but I'm not expecting much at all. My hopes for this are about as high as they were/are for Dumb & Dumberer, which I still haven't seen and am not in a hurry to see either.

Blame me, but I'm actually looking forward to this. I know it's from the untalented Farrelly brothers, whose only good and funny film is Dumb and Dumber, but i laughed with the trailer. The Frankie Muniz joke was priceless! If you add Matt Damon, Gregg Kinnear AND Eva Mendes, I'll be there!

I've enjoyed some of the previous flicks by the Farrelly brothers, but this looks pretty dumb. Having a pair of Siamese twins in all sorts of wacky situations (what I picked up from the trailer) doesn't make a film funny.

Looks amusing, and since Eva Mendes is in it I won't let this go unseen in the theatres.

I saw this movie last night at a screening on the Fox Lot. I thought the movie had some really hilarious parts. There were just very subtle things that almost had me falling out of my seat laughing. However, I would say that as a movie this was not their best work. There were a lot of dull moments in the movie and many scenes dragged on. I thought the movie had a lot of comical scenes, but when you throw them all together I didn't think that it made for much of a story.

I had typed up some particulars on what I thought about the movie, but then erased it thinking that it might give certain things away. So I will let you see for yourself. I am originally from RI, like the Farrelly brothers. One of my biggest issues with this film was that they seemed to go away from their roots, and went a little too "Hollywood".

So, the movie had some down right hilarious scenes, but I think as a whole it was rather weak (especially for their standards). If you are looking for a movie that will make you laugh I guess I would see it. If you are looking for a "Dumb and Dumber" or a "Something about Mary" I feel you will be dissappointed.

I think this, admittedly, looks funny. It's got two great leading men (Kinnear and Damon...both a comedic and a dramatic DREAM)...it may not be the best movie ever, but it looks like a smashing good time.

The trailer is fucking abysmal...but the premise is certainly interesting.

I'll be seeing this one, no doubt about it.

This movie looks really bad (imo). None of the situations seen in the previews are not funny to me, save for the part where sujmone calls for one brother, the other picks up and tells them taht hes not there. Also, I think in general, this movie looks retarded. I dont understand the brother's physical connection, it just doesnt look right to me.

This looks funny, so I'll see it. The team of Matt Damon and Greg Kinear is awesome, and the added talents of Cher and Eva Mendez (her talent lies somewhere else, my friends) is always a safe bet. Plus, I heard Meryl Streep has a cameo in this film, which, too, should be fun...

The verdict is still out on this one... I'm wondering how far they can stretch the one-joke premise (they're siamese twins! ha!). However, I'm a Farrelly fan, the cast is sublime, and the trailer was quite a lot of fun (Four time Academy Award watchers The Farrelly brothers....

I will see it.

i think meryl streep's cameo is when she's being interviewed talking about working with one of the brothers... (Greg Kinnear's character Walt)

I saw this tonight, and along with the added and unexpected treat of seeing the new GARFIELD trailer, I loved it. It was very funny, well-acted and surprisingly sweet. One of the best feel-good comedies of the year. Both the leads are funny and believable, and Cher is also pretty funny in a spoof of herself. Her best line comes in an arguement when she goes "I don't have to do this. You know why? Because I'm a FUCKING OSCAR WINNER!" Stay after the end (just when the credits start to roll) for an unexpected and funny surprise that had me rolling in the aisles. Meryl Streep has a little more than a cameo, she is in it for around 10-15 minutes, and she is also very funny. Overall, a very enjoyable movie experience. I know people say I'm too generous with my ratings but this one truly deserves a very good grade.

9/10 (A-)

This was OK. There were some very good laughs (loved the bear scene) and Damon and Kinnear are good. But it is way, way too long and too often overly sentimental. Mediocre.

Alright, I take this back now. I watched Ebert & Roeper last night, and their review made me want to see it. They said it doesn't make fun of these people at all and make jokes at their expense, it makes them human, and makes us care about them, and like people we could be friends with. From the trailers, I thought it looked like it would rely on their disability for laughs, and made me think it looked cruel and ridiculous. But Ebert & Roeper said it has a big heart, and so have quite a few other people, and it's FRESH at Rotten Tomatoes. So, I'm actually interested in this one now, and think I'd probably like it. I think me local theater (that only has 3-4 movies playing at a time) has this one. Maybe I'll try to check it out.

This one I think could rank up there more with Shallow Hal (7/10 or B), the best Farrelly Bros. movie so far. That one had a big heart too. The one thing I didn't really care for in that movie though was that they had ANOTHER chair break later in the movie, which was just too much and kind of in poor taste. I'm glad they didn't include the deleted scene where the bed breaks, because that would have been REAL OVERKILL.

My opinion on other Farrelly flicks:

Dumb & Dumber - I can't rate this any more. I liked it when it first came out, but then I've tried seeing it since, and it was so fucking annoying that I couldn't bring myself to sit through it, it was like fingernails on a chalkboard and really unfunny. I don't think I could watch this one ever again, and am not even going to attempt it. The only thing that sucks is that my grade is incomplete for it.

There's Something About Mary - 7/10 or B- (It's a good movie, mainly because Diaz is so fucking likable here. She was so sweet and made the movie. Without her, it wouldn't have been anything. I was disappointed though when I saw it, because I kept hearing how hilarious it was, and it did look funny, but I found it, and still do, to be overrated. It wasn't all that funny, and some things about it just rubbed me the wrong way. I did love Diaz here, and she made it enjoyable enough.)

Me, Myself, & Irene - 7/10 or B- (I saw this one with myself, then with my parents, then with a friend. The more I watched it, the more I liked it, and the more solid the 7/10 (B-) rating became. It was kind of cruel, and sick, and annoying at times (Since when is saying the "F" word over and over and over again funny? That's so stupid!), but in the end I liked it. It was entertaining.

Outside Providence - 7/10 or B- (I finally ended up seeing this in January 2001 because a female friend of mine had recommended it to me a few months earlier. I never really wanted to see it, but gave it a chance for her. I ended up liking it. It was sweet and cute. A solid film.)

Say It Isn't So - 7/10 or B- (I really enjoyed this one, even more than There's Something About Mary, the one that everybody loved. I thought it was funny at times, sweet, and overall entertaining.)

I didn't care much for KINGPIN and don't know what my rating would be for it. And I didn't see OSMOSIS JONES, which I've actually heard good things about, so I wouldn't mind checking it out eventually.

Not as funny as any other Farrelly Brother movie, but it does have some funny moments...but I mean any other 2 hour comedy could pack in some funny moments in that amount of time. I mean its a nice picture, its not a bad movie by any means, but really I wanted to laugh a lot, and I didn't - a lot of missed 'jokes', i didn't know if the scenes with 'Rocket' were supposed to be funny? I mean i don't find the fact that someone is 'special' funny....they kind of drove that into the ground. I know the Farrelly's were doing something positive by casting handicapped people in this movie, but then again it kind of felt like they insulted them

ANyways the handicapped is not the problem with the movie, this felt like a comedy/drama unlike all previous Farrelly bros movies. Matt Damon and Greg Kinnear were very good in their roles, i liked their chemistry and their scenes together (their fight scene was fuckin funny, i will admit) and their landlord also cracked me up. Another character I wish they showed more of (I dont think im alone here) was EVA MENDES - man what a friggin hottie, but she actually was funny.

anyways, not a horrible movie by any stretch, but not your typcial laugh fest the Farrelly's offer.

6/10

Say It Isn't So has one of my favorite end scenes.

earlier in the movie he talks about spanking it to suzanne somers. then the private detective he hires finally finds his mom, and it's suzanne somers. :D

saw it this afternoon, didn't really care for it all, it had a few funny moments but just wore thin very quickly. eva mendes was pretty much a wasted role in my opinion. matt damon was good(but he rarely isn't in my opinion). second comedy in a row that i've seen (the first being somethings gotta give) that could really have just benefitted from being cleaned up a bit in the editing room, overall pretty mediocre flick.

I have to say I was really surprised at how much i enjoyed this. What i really like about the most recent Farrley brothers is that while the movies are funny they a re trying for a c ertian amount of pathos. Im not saying theyre Shakespere but they do surprisinly well. The relationship between t he to twins were handled quite well and Kinnear and Damon worked quite well together. yes theyre were a few tired jokes and Cher wasnt always convincing but I was really surprised that this turned out to be a funny and heartfelt film. Keep in mind I really expected to hate this when I went in.

Stuck on You is an uneven, yet surprisingly funny film from the Farrelly brothers. Matt Damon (did he gain weight or is it just me) and Greg Kinnear play conjoined twins, and they are both fine in their respective parts. The real stars of the show, to me, were Cher and Eva Mendes. Both added wit and humor to the film, and were easy on the eyes. The film does have its fair share of problems. The Asian female who plays Damon’s Internet girlfriend is without a doubt one of the worst actresses I have ever seen in a major motion picture. And on top of that, her part was bigger than the lovely Eva. She was incredibly annoying and nearly ruined the picture for me. Also, the film is too long. While many of the parts in the beginning, and especially towards the middle are funny, when the film starts to branch off into the more dramatic aspects… it just doesn’t work, and drags on for way too long. I appreciate what the Farrellys were trying to do, but I do not think they succeed all to well. Some of the funnier parts of the film are the owner of the apartment complex with his constant schemes to sleep on the job (the eye bit is hilarious), pretty much all of Cher’s lines and expressions, the “Wizard of Oz” homage, and the Bonnie and Clyde musical towards the end. This is definitely one of the Farrelly’s weaker efforts, but it is not as bad as Shallow Hal or Say it Isn’t so (which they only produced.) Wait for video on this one, folks.

The Farrelly's second best IMO (haven't seen Kingpin or Me, Myself, and Irene). Vastly entertaining, more clever than you would think, great cast, and a fantastic buddy duo.
