He's undoubtedly an extremely talented actor as shown in films like Schindlers List, Michael Collins (BEST FILM EVER!!), Rob Roy, Before And After, etc.

Granted he hasn't exactly picked the best of films lately, Gun Shy, K19, The Haunting. But still has the ability to gtet back on track if he picks some decent films.

And as well as that he's feckin gorgeous!!!

My thoughts exactly! The soft northern ireland accent as well as his brilliant Cork accent in Michale Collins...It's all good. And also agreed he's up there with the de niros and pacinos.

Undeniably one of the greatest actors working today.

Not only is he extremely versatile, but it seems that in his movies, he really brings himself into the characters, and becomes them, which makes it absolutely flawless.

However, he was horrible in the HORRIBLE Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace (though it wasn't really his fault) but for all the other great performances he has given, he can easily be forgiven. :)

Huge YAY!!!

I thought he was great in Michael Collins, Schindler's List, Nell, Rob Roy , and most recently his tender performance in Love Actually.

Add to all of this his sexy northern Irish accent and you have one of the best actors around!
