Thanking you areyoubeingserved (I tip me hat), the tres COOL LittleMixTapes site just made me wanna open a fab' thread...

So, basically ANY song's with 'La's' and 'Mmmm's' and 'Oh's' and 'Ma's'...and 'Der's' and 'Ra's' and ya catch my drift I'm sure!?

My favourite...

I Spy - Pulp (It's on the site MIX and it truly is a GEM!)

GOOD Runner's Up...

Beautiful Ones - Suede (CLASSIC 'La-La-La's')
She's a Lady - Pulp (For those who prefer 'Ma-Ma-Ma's')
Happy Hour - The Housemartins (Shucks, it sure is CATCHY!)
The Passenger - Iggy Pop (COMPULSIVE 'La-La-La-ing')
Pink Glove - Pulp (Get some 'Oh-Oh-Oh's' in there!)

CHEESY Runner's Up...

Only You - The Flying Picket's (Seriously, ya can't help yerself with 'Ba-Ra-Ra-Ra's')
Loving You - Minnie Riperton (Show me a woman who can stop herself, and I'll show ya a liar!)

Oh, and I MUST give a mention to Stevie Wonder's SIR DUKE...it doesn't EXACTLY qualify, but a healthy "Da-ra-ra-ra, dun-dun-der-ler-rer-da-la-la-la, den-den-den-ner-ner-der-ler-ler-den-ner" is ALWAYS on the cards when it comes on!

*Steps back and awaits a 1000 replies stating HEY JUDE ;)*

Better make that Kylie Minogue's Can't Get You Out of My Head. Na na na, na na na, na, na.

I've always found Pulp's I Spy's La la la-ing a little subversive to that song tradition, because on the actual song it's cut very short and it is a very catchy La la la-ing, so I'm always getting up to sing it and clap my hands but then it stops and Cocker's pervey whispers start up again and I look like a right twat.

Christ, I thought I was the only person who knew this song.
