Bale + batman = Buff

If Bale got this buff for american psycho, imagine what he's doin for Batman. This will most likely be his 'BREAKTHROUGH' role to the mainstream audience and he doesn't want to screw it up. He has plenty of time till filming, since he signed on. What i'm hoping for is he's lifting weights right now like a mad man. He's probably training with wires and shit, but like one of the stories i read a while ago, this batman is Strong and buff. So i'm hoping Bale will put on a few pounds, and look huge.
What are your guyz' thoughts on this? Should he stay the way he is, or get bigger and stronger for the role?

After seeing Bale in Equilibrium,he will definately look awesome as the cape crusader. Maybe they WONT need that awful looking GAY suit that was seein in Batman & Robin.:confused: :mad: I just hope whatever story does not relive B&R (BLEAH!) but til then PANT PANT PANT :D

hmmmm, yea i guess we do somewhat. Wish i could say the same about body definition! :) But soon girls, soon. When i leave for Air Force in June, it'll be part of my goal while i'm in there to get huge :), well at least strong.

Well, considering his former film is The Machinist, he'll have a very tough time for gaining the 22 kilogrames he lost for the role. I don't wanna think what he has to pass through if he tries to gain even more weight!

Considering this'll be his first huge role in a mainstream movie, at least as big as Batman, I wouldn't doubt that he'd beefcake himself up considerably. At the very least, it may make a lot of money due to the females worldwide wanting to oogle at his 6 pack over and over again

Yea, no shit! That was Odd IMO. But, what i hope they do with the suit is give it more of a Batman: DeadEnd short movie. With the more traditional relying more on real muscles type of wear.

Considering the way he was built in American Psycho and Equilibrium, you'd think the role of Batman would get him buffed up, again. Just as long as he gets rid of his gaunt appearance from The Machinist, he'll be fine.

I am a big fan of Christian Bale, I can't wait to see him as Batman! I have had this thing for the past month where I have actually become a really big fan of Bale. I have 100% pride that he will do very good in this role, and all other future endeavors soon to come for him.

Well I hope he doesn't get too buffed. He needs to be more ripped and in shape than Arnoldized.

Bats needs to be limber and acrobatic so too much pumpitude would look bad.

And after Equalibrium it is safe to say he can handle action and after American Psycho it is safe to say he can act!

So I think he will kick some ass.

And I hope they stay more along the lines of the Burton costumes. He should have a bit of armor, unless he is stupid! Because now a days the bad guys use GUNS!

But he doesn't need to look like Robocop.

And I am sure any nipples will be real, not plastic, but I say avoid that issue all together, okay.

I was always itching for Keaton to come back I guess it messed with his mind ala Tim Curry and Rocky Horror.

But I would love to see Keaton come back in say another 10 years and play the old Bats. Ahh to dream, are you listening Tim!

But I have faith that if the story is good that Bale will rock the house. Hell Equalibrium was low budge and it rocked.

Here are the latest pictures of Bale, I’m glad to see he has gained his weight back and then some. Some people on other forums have said they think he looks too chubby but I dont see it.

It almost looks like he gained too much back, but Im sure he'll be back in shape once they begin filming.
